Wanda's pov

Vincent has invited me to come over to his laboratory I never liked being inside laboratories after witnessing what SWORD has done to Vision's body. Those bastards desecrated him. No, I shook my head as I redirect my thoughts somewhere he has been bugging me to come over and check out his discovery about a particular beer yeast strain.
My brewery has its chemistry lab thanks to Milla insisting that we built our own so we could sequence our beer yeast strains. Milla herself had developed (mostly ale strains) made specifically for a style of beer: Bitters, Pale, Mild, Brown, Porters and Stouts, Barleywines and Old, Strong, Scottish, Belgian, French, Saisons and Rustics, Trappist, even the unusual Tart and Wild ones that we sold in small batches Milla makes sure we are fully stocked. He seemed excited considering I have 10 missed calls from him. I should let go of the SWORDs anymore since I no longer live in my universe. Not that I'm planning to go back anyway. And besides, Vision is right here alive and well.

Breathing out her thoughts, Wanda tidied up her red hair and adjusted her appearance, getting ready to ring Vincent's doorbell.

Vincent's pov

Did I disturb her today? Does she have important things to take care of? I know she's a brewmaster now, so maybe my call was an inconvenience.  Crap! I shouldn't have called! No... No, no, no. Vincent calm down! She already accepted your call and is on her way here!
The doorbell rang.
The motion detector recognized Wanda and opened the sliding doors before I even took a step forward.

When I looked at her, I noticed that she had a shocked expression on her face, as if she was surprised by my presence. It was then that I realized that I was still wearing the Superior Iron Man suit, which had changed from its original white color to a bright red.
I glanced downwards and let out a nervous laugh, saying “Oops.”
Wanda was still unable to speak. Feeling nervous, I gave a small shrug and asked, “Do you like it?” It was all I could manage to say. That was stupid...
“I do,” Wanda said “It fitted you well,” she complimented him while taking a moment to admire his appearance from top to bottom.
The woman has her red hair tied up in a simple bun that you might see on a typical housewife. She's wearing a black jacket, jeans, and black buckle boots that suggest she's still actively involved in brewing, rather than just sitting in an office like a typical company owner. Her appearance shows that she has a dual role as a single mother and a businesswoman who's always on the go.

“So um... Where am I?” Vincent said awkwardly.
“You're telling me about a beer yeast strain you've discovered,” Wanda said.
“Right... Right. Moving forward.” Vincent said. He didn't realize that Wanda smiles.

Wanda asked, “What is it that you're showing me?” She looked at the screen while Vincent held up a test tube with a creamy, foamy liquid inside. The ginger eyed it curiously.
Vincent explained that he had found a substance called Kveik yeast. Through his tests, he discovered that it originated from two types of beer yeast: the ale strain and the lager strain. The Kveik strain's parents are from the ale strain used by the first generation of the coven of witches/warlocks and the lager strain from the first generation of the sanctum of sorcerers/sorceresses. Specifically, these were the yeast strains that Wanda and Milla brought to the timeline a hundred years ago.

“Oh, my god...” Wanda said.
“Yes. And the best part is it's a versatile agent it could create both ale and kager of course!” Vincent nodded enthusiastically. To Wanda's surprise, the man super-rocketed toward his portable brewing set and pour two beers for Wanda to try, a mild ale and a Dunkel lager.

Vincent held out two glasses and asked the redhead which one she preferred.
Wanda chose one and took a sip: when she examined the mild ale closely, she realized that the black color was actually a deep shade of red. This beer is like a nice metaphor - it rewards you when you take a closer look. When you swirl the beer around in your mouth, the taste transforms from sweet malts to licorice and dates, with a subtle earthy undertone. It's decent when poured from a bottle, but it's outstanding when served on tap.
