I would appreciate any suggestions for the title of this story seeing how mine is so... well bad. Anyway thank you for following Jace and Izzy through their kidnapping! I hope you continue to follow them as their lives get even more complicated. (Prologue goes first right?)

Prologue

"Izzy, get your butt down to the grocery store now." the message on my phone read. I sighed.

"Why Emma?" I asked.

"It's an emergency!" Her reply said. I hopped off the couch and jogged out to my car. Andrew was skating into the driveway.

"Where are you going?" He demanded.

"Emma needs me will you--"

"UGH!" He groaned, already knowing what I was going to say. I gave him a big smile and drove off to the grocery store.

"Hurry up!" Emma texted me.

I pulled into the parking lot and stole a spot from a guy my age. He flipped me off. I waved merrily at him and rushed into the store. Where was Emma?

"Where are you?" I texted quickly. I ran up and down through the aisles looking for her. My phone buzzed. I looked down while rushing around the corner. SMACK! I should have seen that coming. I ran straight into some guy holding a gallon of milk and a carton of eggs. The milk fell to the floor and smashed open. The eggs flew into the air and smashed on our heads. I grabbed his arm for support not to fall, but ended up taking him with me.

"I'm so sorry!" I apologized trying to get up. I fell back down. His blond hair was stuck to his forehead and gooey eggs ran down his face. I finally succeed in getting up. I helped him up and stretched to pick out the egg shells in his hair.

"It's alright, it was just an accident." He assure me, taking my hands from his hair.

"Are you sure? I feel so bad! It's just that my sister was texting me and I was trying to find her and--"

"Iz, it's ok." He laughed.

"Oh I'm so sorry--" I paused. I looked up at him. His muddy brown eyes stared down at me, smiling. "Oh my God," I whispered.

"Nice to see you too, Izzy." Jace teased. Jace. Jace Dawson, the boy who had left me standing on a bridge to move to California 4 years ago, stood in front of me. I smacked his shoulder as hard as I could.

"What was that for?" He cried.

"That was for never calling!" I hit him again, "That was for never answering my texts," I hit him again, "And that was for moving!" I shrieked.

Jace pulled me close to him and kissed me. After 4 years he thinks he can make better with a kiss?

"That was for putting you through all that," He whispered. I smiled up at him. OK so maybe that did help.
