i was in nahee's dorm, pretty much tutoring her on chemistry.
"why am i supposed to learn all this? why can't i just become a surgeon in the blink of an eye?!" nahee sulked, which somehow cringed me out but i hid that feeling deep down.
"just do this question and i will give you a break─alright?" i raised a brow, pointing at the last question on her note book that was left unanswered.
nahee stared at me with suspicious looks, before she turned back to the book with "fine, just─just go and text your little lover boy and give me a minute"
i rolled my eyes at the brunette before i took my phone out, scrolling through instagram instead.
so yeah, the atmosphere was dead silent for i don't know─five minutes, until i heard something hit the window.
i look at nahee and she just shrugged, so i went back to the phone. but then again, it hit the window, which made nahee hit my shoulder "stop doing that, i can't concentrate" she confessed, her eyes not leaving the book
"it wasn't me, i swear" i huffed, but then nahee was too busy with the question.
one last hit and i swear─
another hitting sound echoed, so i stood up while groaning. i lazily walk to the window and opened it, only to gasp.
HE IS HERE, HE IS HERE OH MY GOD─
jungwon gave me a sign to come downstairs, which made me nod as i retrieve away from the window and close it before i went to grab my jacket "a friend needs me right now, i have to go" i told her, and immediately set off after.
i ran down the stairs and then i ran towards the door, slipping my shoes on and opened the door, revealing jungwon who looked like he waited for abit too long "how do you know i am here?!" i exclaimed in disbelief, which made him laugh
"your brother told me you were tutoring nahee today so I decided to pay a visit. hope i didn't disturb you" jungwon sighed out, suddenly revealing a small box
"i um...i know this isn't even valentines day but i attempted to make chocolate today...and i wanted an accurate compliment since i am not familiar with cooking─there is also a very small gift inside it" jungwon handed out the box and pointed at it, which made me nod
my heart totally did not just flutter.
"wow um...thank you, you really didn't have to give me all this" i muttered, trying to hide my smile even though i was probably blushing.
"so...give it a taste and maybe even tell me how it tastes, yeah"
i nod again "yeah, sure"

i tried my best not to squeal as hyunjae greeted on the phone "hi, how was your day?" i ask her, playing with my hair.
"it was not so good, but your chocolates made my day, they were delicious!" hyunjae squeals from the other side of the phone, and i swear i felt my heart skip a beat or two
wow...did she just compliment me?!
that's the best achievement i received ever since birth!
"really? thank you..." i shuddered, switching my position on the bed so that my back would face the bed.
i could hear random whispers coming from her line─she was definitely holding back from saying something
"hyunjae? you okay?" i asked, feeling slightly concerned until she replied "no─ i mean, yes but well─ i...." hyunjae trailed off
"you..." i continued, trying to help her finish what she was trying to comprehend"i..I LIKE YOU"
"huh─"
"shit─sorry you erm...misheard it"
and the call was done.
