It's been two days since Jamie and I talked. Or well since I made the decision that were done when I leave. Both of us aren't acting like things are different but having an expiration date on this is definitely starting to feel more and more real as the days go by.
Trevor's back home and currently shouting my name from the living room.
"What?" I glare at him with my arms crossed over my chest when I walk into the living room. He's laying on the couch.
"Got any plans today?" He asks.
It's already one pm and all I've done is lay in bed, tan up on the roof and read.
"No, what's up?"
"Wanna go get a tattoo?" He smiles.
"What?" I laugh.
"The guy who did mine has some openings today," he explains.
"I don't even know what I'd get," I move to sit on the arm of the couch.
"What if we drew each other one?" He sits up.
"Hell no!" Is he crazy? "You'll draw something stupid!"
"You have no faith in me, little sister," he shake his head.
"Oh come on we both know your first design idea was a penis."
"Was not!"
"Mhm sure," I hum.
"I think I have a few ideas saved, I'll take a look." I pull my phone out from the pocket of my shorts. I've always wanted a tattoo but just always put it off.
"So that's a yes?" He smirks.
"Yes," I smile, my eyes still on my phone. Yolo, ya know?
And then next thing I know were both in his car heading to his friend's tattoo shop.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," I say tying my hair up into a ponytail so it's out of the way.
"It'll be over before you know it," Trevor says sitting in a chair next to the tattoo chair.
"Are you sure it's not gonna hurt?" I ask looking over at him.
"I didn't say it's not gonna hurt. I said it's less painful then you probably think," he corrects me.
"That's beyond unhelpful," I sigh as I lay down on the tattoo chair.
"You'll be fine," he scoffs.
"Will you hold my hand if it hurts?" I ask adjusting the pillow under my head.
He lets out a small laugh, "Yeah I will."
