KENDALL

After Jamie and I's accidentally three hour nap. We shower and head to dinner, then decide to go to a movie. Both of us have had really long weeks, so were exhausted and don't really want to do anything crazy.

And even though it's early November in Minnesota there's not much snow on the ground but it is a bit cold as we walk from the restaurant to the theater. It's a really nice new fancy theater, and we're a bit early for our movie so we grab snacks and hang out in the lounge area they have.

We're both just sitting scrolling on our phones, which is when I snap I quick photo. I have a leg hung over Jamie's which threw him off a bit at first since he's not a PDA guy, but he went with it.

I decide to post the photo, not caring who sees it because you can't tell who it is and why not send my followers into a little frenzy of trying to figure it out.

"Shit," I say as I start getting a phone call from my brother, but it's not Trevor, it's Griffin.

"What?" Jamie looks over at me. I just show him my phone screen, which says 'Grif' across the top and a photo of him as toddler and I fills the screen.

"Don't say a word," I narrow my eyes at Jamie as I answer the phone.

"Hey, Grif!" I hold my phone to my ear trying to act like I'm not hiding anything.

"What the hell was that on your story? Who is that?" Griffin questions.

Okay I definitely should have excepted this call from at least one of my siblings.

Just to be annoying I counter with, "Who was the blonde on your story yesterday?"

"My friend Jaden," he answers. I roll my eyes to myself.

"Who's the guy?" He asks again.

"I'm not telling you."

"Does Trevor or Ava know?"

"No, no one does so keep your mouth shut," I snap at him.

Jamie's hand slides up and down my thigh in a comforting way.

"At least tell me how you met," Griffin says.

"A mutual friend," I answer because it's true, that 'friend' just also happens to be my brother.

"You're really not gonna tell me anything?" He scoffs.

"No because it's still new, I'll tell you and everyone when I'm ready," I answer right as I start to get another call. I pull my phone away from my ear, Trevor's name sits at the top of my phone.
