Ch.13 The Past

3rd person POV

"They said she got a letter from Cha Dobin asking for forgiveness and he wanted to meet her," the doctor says.

"You mean the son of the Cha corporation," the nurse says.

"I'm not sure but not many are named that," the doctor said.

Chen Xue's POV

I start to regain my consciousness and look around it's so bright and the members are all surrounding me my head hurts as I suddenly remembered what happened.

"Xiao Xue you're awake," Sister Yao says.

"Doctor she's awake," Brother Cheng yells.

"I'm sorry it's my fault I shouldn't just read things that are not addressed to me," Lao Mao says worriedly.

"It's alright," I said.

"But Xiao Xue who is he and why is he calling you Xiao Xue is he close to you," she says.

Flashback

When I was in the seventh grade. I went to Korea for 2 years while I was there. I ment Cha Dobin the son of the Cha corporation the largest in Korea. He was quiet and good at everything he never really spoke much and didn't have any interests. But that changed when I came. I never tried to throw myself at him trying to get some of his money. I actually tried to talk to him. I treated him just like anyone else. I teased him as well soon he became fond of me slowly but surely we fell in love. Then his family wanted him to study in the US so I decided came with him. In my freshman year he confessed to me although he was a sophomore that didn't matter to me. We loved each other dearly his parents liked me too everything was going just fine. We were going to get married after we had finished college we even had an apartment together I even hit my dream of becoming a streamer. But in his last year of highschool his dad had a big project. And the only way they had enough money for it was if Dobin was married off to the daughter of the Lee group. His parents agreed but he didn't. Dobin told me about this I was upset but couldn't do anything. his parents forced him to have the marriage he promised me he wouldn't do anything with that girl an cheat on me. One day I was waiting for Cha Dobin he had promised me we would go out after he was done doing a public appearance with his fiance. I stood their heartbroken as I watched him kiss the daughter of the Lee group. Hid promise he would never do anything shattered. I ran out of there tears streaming down my face as Dobin saw me he stormed after me. As I ran I realized that I was just a normal girl. While she was the daughter of a large corporation and she had everything. But I had nothing to offer. I said to myself as I reached the entrance of the door but suddenly someone grabbed my wrist

"Please Xiao Xue it's a mistake,"  he said to me.

"What do you mean a mistake you promised me, Dobin," I shouted at him distressed.

"Please listen to me," he pleaded

"No Dobin I know I'm just a normal girl she's your fiance I have no place here I'll leave is that good enough," I cried out.

"Fine leave then just know I can always find you and your family you can leave me for now," he says.

I ran out of the building scared for my life I left a note at our apartment saying: "I won't ask you to leave I'll go myself I hope you have a bright future and everything you ever need" I went back to live with my parents I become depressed for a little. I decided to move back to China as my parents wanted to be back home. I quit streaming and got rid of everything that reminded me of him.

"I decided to go to law school and work hard to be independent and have a good job not to get
thrown away anymore," I explain as a tear streamed down my face.

"He sounds like such a scum but how did he find you why did he send the letter," Brother Rui says.

"That time we were supposed to go out for dinner and I meant YQCB Hierophant that was him I don't know why he was there but seeing him shocked me to the core," I say.

"There's no way that's him he wouldn't do that," Brother Cheng says.

"It was him if you don't believe it searches Cha Dobin," I said as he starts to pull out his phone and there he was on the screen Hierophant.
