After Victoria's distress call, Pippa decided to spend the weekend with her niece. She was very worried after the phone rang at ten o'clock at night with a call from her in which she was just crying. It broke her heart into a million pieces.

—Hi aunty— she greeted as she climbed into the passenger seat giving her a kiss on the cheek.

—Hi sweetie— she replied with a big smile, but the princess was no longer paying attention as she started making funny faces at her three-month-old cousin, who was in the back seat.

—She's so cute— the teenager complimented, returning to her previous position with a smile.

—She looks just like you— she said, causing her to shake her head —Of course she doesn't— she replied, surprised by her aunt's statement. The drive to her aunt and uncle's house was spent discussing who looked more like whom.

Arriving at the big house in London, Victoria could feel peace. Something she hadn't experienced in quite some time.

—You can stay in this room— Pippa spoke, causing her to snap out of her trance and follow her up the stairs.

—Thank you— the princess replied sincerely. She was very grateful for what her aunt was doing for her.

—You don't have to give them. This is your home— she said, looking her in the eyes and then they embraced in a big hug where they didn't say anything to each other, it wasn't necessary. The hug spoke for itself.

Pippa left her alone to settle in while she made tea and wrote to her sister to tell her that they were home. Kate was very nervous. On the one hand she wanted to be there with them, but then she remembered how angry her daughter would be if she showed up, causing her to hold everything in her heart. William had asked her to calm down a couple of times, but his wife just ignored him. She wouldn't be calm until she got a call from her sister.

—Would you like some tea?— Pippa asked as she saw her niece come downstairs. She had taken off her uniform and replaced it with a large Nike sweatshirt and mom fit jeans. Victoria nodded and took a seat next to her aunt on the sofa. They both began to sip their Assam tea, not knowing how to start the conversation.

The woman thought it best not to start asking questions directly, so she started talking about her favourite hobby.

—I hear you're going to do a lyrical solo— she said, to which she nodded with a big smile.

—It's called Electricity— she replied. I thought they were going to talk about the call and I was quite nervous as I didn't know how to start.

—Lovely. When will you do it?— asked her aunt, taking another sip of her tea and giving her full attention.

—At the Christmas festival— she replied, feeling very relaxed about the conversation. They spent a long time talking about dancing and Victoria regretted not having spoken to her aunt earlier.

After tea, the princess went to play with her cousin Arthur as she hadn't seen him for a long time. Pippa smiled and decided she would speak to her niece later. She looked at her phone and could see Kate's desperate messages.

She sighed as she left the chat room to go to the camera and take a picture of her son with Victoria and send it to her with the caption, "I'll talk to her later, they are busy playing now"

Victoria was very nervous about the conversation with her aunt. She didn't know how she was going to react with all the things that had been going through her mind in the last few weeks. For a moment she thought about lying but she quickly forgot about that idea, if she wanted her aunt to help her she had to open her heart.

—It's my aunt, what can happen?— she thought, sitting on the guest bed after a good shower.

—Vic, honey, can I come in?— asked her uncle James, who had just come home from work. —I've bought pizza— the man announced, eliciting a big smile from the teenager, who ran downstairs to the dining room where two pizzas were waiting for her on the large oak table.

—Any time you want to talk, I'm here— Pippa said, not wanting to push. Victoria sighed and nodded, sitting down on the sofa in the living room.

—Everything is in chaos right now— she said, causing her aunt to sit down next to her, waiting for her explanation. —This year was going to be perfect, but two days into school, Gran-Gran passed away. And I don't know how to get over that. I miss her so much— the teenager began, tears welling up in her eyes. Pippa gave her a comforting hug, causing them to snuggle. Victoria leaned against her aunt's shoulder as she stroked her back.

—When you caught me smoking, I promised not to do it again. But I've done it more than once, to be honest I started before my birthday— she said feeling bad about it. She knew it wasn't right, but it made her feel so amazing that it was impossible to stop.

—Vic...— the brunette started but the princess interrupted her —I know you're disappointed— she said saddened with a few tears slipping from her beautiful blue eyes.

—I am surprised. We should have realised sooner— Pippa said, feeling she had failed as an aunt. She couldn't believe she'd been smoking for eight months.

Victoria shrugged —I'm good at hiding things. It's not your fault— she said, wiping the last tears from her eyes.

—But it's not good for your health— she tried to talk some sense into her, but the teenager refused.

—I don't smoke that much. Only on days like these— the princess clarified, trying to reassure her aunt. In her mind it was no big deal. It was just teenage nonsense, but in reality it was much more.

—What else is going on?— asked Pippa, deciding that the subject of smoking would be dealt with another time.

—I'm sure you've already spoken to mum— Victoria replied, a little embarrassed. She didn't like anyone knowing that side of her, as she was an angel to her family.

—I know your mother's side. Would you like to tell me yours— Pippa asked sympathetically. The future queen sighed and nodded and began to tell the story.

—Your parents love you. You may not feel that way now, but believe me they do— said the brunette, wiping away her niece's tears as she shook her head.

—I was a mistake. I should never have been born— confessed the young princess, breaking away from the embrace to run to the room where she was staying. She closed the door and wept. Saying it out loud had made it all the more real.

Pippa stood in the same spot watching Victoria disappear from sight. She knew she was going through a bad time but she had never imagined it was this bad. She had to talk to Kate right away.

She went to the kitchen to get her iPhone and dialed her contact. When the Duchess saw her sister's name appear, she began to tremble. Something inside her told her something had gone wrong.

—What happened?— she asked immediately, hearing her sister sigh, which made her very uneasy.

—I think it's best if the three of us talk in person— Pippa said, trying to be calm, even though she was also very worried.

Kate thought the worst, and that made her start sobbing like a little girl. She hated that she had been such a bad mother to Victoria, she thought she was doing her a favour. But it was the opposite. Being so strict with her when she was little was taking its toll on her now. She wished she could go back in time and change how she behaved with her daughter.
