After the Christmas holidays, the boarding school had organised a holiday in the Cairngorms Mountains. Victoria was very excited.

The school had booked a hotel so that the students could be comfortable. Victoria and Maya stayed in a room.

For the first day, the teenagers spent the whole day skiing, only stopping for lunch. It was one of the princess's favourite sports and one she tried to do every winter.

—Hi mum— said Victoria, answering the call.

—How are you?— asked the woman.

The brunette told her how much fun she was having, but her voice showed her impatience to end the call, as in a few minutes she was leaving for a small party they were organising at the hotel. Catherine understood and simply wished her good night.

The party was being held in the hotel lounge, and although everyone was very happy to be there, fatigue began to set in and by four o'clock in the morning there would be no one there.

The exhaustion and the effect of the alcohol made the princess wake up with a slight headache and later than usual.

—We can't go skiing today because of bad weather— Maya announced when she saw her eyes open.

To entertain themselves for the day, the girls went to the hotel cafeteria, which had a huge glass window that overlooked the entire mountain they had been skiing on hours before.

The girls ordered cups of hot chocolate while they talked about everything that had happened the night before.

Although the teenage girls always liked to spend time talking, having the slope so close and not being able to go seemed like a waste.

—Vic, don't even think about it— Maya announced behind her as she saw her look out the window towards the mountain.

-I wasn't doing anything— she shrugged as she looked at her in amusement.

—Sure— the blonde rolled her eyes.

Before they went to bed, they received another message from their tutor informing them that they wouldn't be able to ski the next day either. Victoria sighed heavily.

During the night, she couldn't stop thinking about skiing, making her thoughts from a few hours ago come back to her head. And this time, without someone to take the crazy idea out of her head, she decided to do it.

Adrenaline was pumping through her body, so at six in the morning she was ready to go, grabbed everything she needed and headed for the mountain. The security guards were resting in their respective rooms, so none of them were aware of the princess's intentions.

As it was forbidden to go up, the cable car was not working, but that didn't stop her and after several minutes she was ready to go down the track.

She was all alone, which made it even more fun. She stayed there for an hour, to get back before everyone knew about it. And luckily no one was awake yet.

When Maya woke up the first thing she saw was Victoria sitting on the couch playing with the iPad. But her face was unexpectedly happy, which surprised the blonde.

—What's wrong with you?— she asked, raising her eyebrows.

—Nothing.

—I know you're keeping a secret and I'm going to find out— Maya said, pointing her finger, earning a small laugh from the princess.

Although Victoria had already calmed her desire to ski, the adrenaline she had felt that morning skipping all the rules and going without security had been incredible and she desperately wanted to feel the same again, so she spent the whole morning devising a plan to get back without getting caught.
