On the way to school Victoria couldn't help but feel sad. She hated the thought of Andrew no longer being in her class and not being able to see him every day. Her first night in Windsor hadn't been easy, she couldn't help but shed a few tears before bed, which she had normalised a lot those last few days.

She took a deep breath as the car pulled up in front of the entrance to the boarding school. She looked at her watch and saw that there were still ten minutes left until the start of her first class, so she decided to head to the room she shared with Maya.

—Vic— the blonde's eyes lit up when she saw her best friend standing in front of the door. Finding out that they wouldn't be sleeping together anymore was very hard for her.

—Have you missed me?— she asked with a big smile on her face as they hugged.

—You don't know how much— she replied, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

The bell rang indicating that the students had to go to their classrooms. Victoria sighed in defeat before an idea occurred to her.

—How about we go to the corner?— she asked, leaving Maya surprised, she never thought she'd hear her best friend say that. —Come on, I have a lot of things to tell you— insisted the princess, making a pout.

—Where is Victoria and what have you done with her?— asked ironically making her laugh —Your parents will ground you for life— she announced but the chestnut didn't seem to mind.

—I'm already grounded, besides I have a plan— she raised her eyebrows, which made her sigh and nod. Victoria clapped her hands silently as she smiled a big smile.

The corner was located just behind the central building under the fire stairs. That's where the students who ran away from class always congregated. Victoria had never been there before and thought she never would, but there she was telling her best friend everything that had happened to her.

—Do you think he'll show up?— Maya asked, taking a puff on her cigarette.

—I hope so— she replied eagerly.

The bell rang, which meant that the second hour had begun. She had two hours of history, so Victoria would take advantage of that. She took a deep breath before entering the classroom, hoping her plan would go well. She headed towards Mr. Almet, who was sitting at his desk reviewing some papers that appeared to be exam papers from another course.

—I'm sorry I'm late, I had a family emergency— she lied as earnestly as possible as Maya crept in, trying not to let the teacher see her.

—I'll have to confirm with your parents— he replied seriously to which the princess nodded.

—I understand, they just asked me to make it after four in the afternoon as they are very busy.

You know about the coronation— she replied with a smile which the man reciprocated as he made a note in his diary.

Victoria went to her seat with a big smile that her plan had worked, while Maya looked at her in disbelief, she never trusted it would work. The princess knew she was going to get in a lot of trouble that afternoon but she couldn't care less, she had been punished with everything you can imagine, so she had nothing to lose.

The classes went on forever without Andrew by her side, she tried not to think about it and have a good time with her best friend. Her classmates asked her but she just said she had meetings for the coronation, the last thing she wanted was for her expulsion to be leaked to the press.
