this week is very exciting because Maddies second music video with Sia just came out! Elastic Heart is probably one of the most incredible songs i've listened too and the fact Maddie was in the video makes it better
we arrive at the studio and Abby looks so happy
"hi you excited? yes i'm so proud of you looked so good" Abby says and kisses Maddies head
we go on into the dancers den
"so Maddie do you like it better than the other one?" Jill asks
"uh it's different" Maddie says
"so why were you dirty?" Jess asks
"because i was playing a wolf and then we've been living in that cage for like a year she said" Maddie says
"is he another animal?" Jill asks
"no he's a person." Maddie says
"how could a person be stuck in a cage with a wolf?" Jill asks
Maddie shrugs
|Pyramid| "come on let's go let's go let's go!" Abby calls for us
we run into studio A
"you're going to be so mad" mom says
"Cathy has a whole new team all the kids from your auditions" Jill says
"including Hayley and Tessa" Kira adds
"really?" Abby says
"now she has kids that can really dance..last week the group came in third you lose to Cathy i'm not gonna have it but we need to move on to the pyramid"
"Kendall and Nia, you both were given solos neither one of you placed in the top five you don't place in the top five you're not going to see another solo for a while."
"okay moving on up next line is JoJo,Mackenzie,Kalani and Kayla you were all in the group dance i thought it was great you took me back to that era you could've all been extras in a movie but the group dance didn't win i want the Abby Lee Dance Company Junior Elite Competition Team to win.. understand?"
"yes" we say
"and on top of the pyramid is Maddie..Maddie you were our big winner in Philadelphia you were the overall high score" we clap for Maddie

"to go against the Candy Apples" mom says
"this week there's no solos in honour of Maddies amazing duet with Shia Labeouf we are doing three duets" Abby says we all cheer
"a duet relies on two people working together as one..Maddie your duet partner is Kayla."
i smile to Maddie
"the name of the duet is Walking Through a storm now remember the last time you did a duet which was two years ago you won it all and there's no where else to go but down."
