George's POV:

Where was Karl? He only skips if something is really bad; he's really focused on getting into a good university to escape his home...

Oh no.

I set off, heading to find Dream. He could drive me to wherever Karl was.

I searched the entire school twice, no sign of Dream anywhere either. I saw Sapnap sitting down, staring at his phone. I walked over to him, sitting down next to him.

"Hey Sapnap, have you seen Dream or Karl anywhere?" I asked.

He looked up, "No, sorry. Dream ran off somewhere, but I haven't seen Karl at all. He's probably just slept in."

Sapnap looked uncertain which worried me even more. I stood up and started to pace.

"George, they'll be fine," he pulled me into a much-needed hug, "I know that Dream will be fine and I'm sure Karl can take care of himself just fine."

"You don't understand," I sighed and started pacing again.

He tilted his head, "Understand what?"

"It's not for me to tell, you have to ask Karl himself."

Sapnap started freaking out.

"George... is Karl ok? Like actually?"

I sighed, "Probably not."

"George!" he yelled, "Why didn't you tell me this earlier!"

"Because I already said it's not my story to tell."

"If I find out that Karl is in danger, you are in a lot of trouble!" Sapnap started crying.

I pulled him into a hug.

"Karl will be ok. He's stronger than he looks." I said, pulling away, "We just need to get through the day, and we can look for him later. I would search now but my parents would strangle me if I missed another day of school."

Sapnap wiped his eyes, got up, grabbed his bag and left to his first class, giving me a weak wave goodbye.
