hospitals

they stripped me naked
one by one
i know it is important
and i want to say slow down
but i hold back
until they dressed me
for the next person
to take my layers off
one by one
again and again
all so quickly
yet not another word
is shared between us
because this is a hospital
where i am forced
to expose my flesh
in exchange for "help"
it is like
they forget
i am a human too
