Hailee and I have been dating for 2 years now and I've never been to one of her concerts, which is kind of ridiculous since I've always wanted to see her perform.
So tonight Hailee is performing in New York and I'm finally going to be there. I mean yes I will be backstage, but just being there is going to be so fun.
Hailee is currently on stage rehearsing everything for tonight and I'm sitting in the front row just admiring my girlfriend.
"Right take 10 everyone!" One of the staff members yells
Hailee comes down from the stage and makes her way over to me. I stand up and meet her halfway.
"Hello my love" she smiles pecking my lips
"Hello beautiful" I whisper as we pull away "wanna get something to eat?" I question wrapping my arms around her neck as she rests hers on my waist
"Yeah that would be nice" she smiles as we walk hand in hand outside of the arena
"Cheeseburgers?" I suggest, knowing exactly what she's going to say
"You know I could never refuse a cheeseburger" she laughs, and I join her
We order cheeseburgers and are now in her dressing room on one of the couches eating them.
"They are so good" Hailee murmurs as she takes the last bite of her cheeseburger
"Agreed" I confirm also taking my last bite "what songs are you singing tonight?" I ask as I sip on my drink
"Uh, rock bottom, coast, wrong direction, man up, your name hurts, sunkissing, let me go, back to life, afterlife and the last one is a secret" Hailee replies with a slight smirk on her face
"Why is it a secret?" I smile as Hailee pulls my waist so I'm sitting in her lap, I wrap my arms around her neck and peck her lips softly
"You will see, just be patient my love" she smiles pulling me in another kiss
"I love you Haiz" I whisper
"I love you too" she smiles

"You'll do amazing" I mumble against Hailees lips as she's about to go on stage
"I love you" she whispers
"Love you too now go don't leave them waiting" I smile, she pecks my lips once again and runs out on stage
"What's up New York?!" She shouts in the microphone as she appears on stage, the crowd goes wild and Hailee smiles
The beginning of rock bottom starts to play and the crowd starts cheering loudly. I smile to myself as I watch my girlfriend perform.

Afterlife has just finished playing and the crowd is still cheering loudly, expecting the last song.
"All right New York!" Hailee shouts "we have one song left" she says and the crowd boos "yeah I know bummer" Hailee laughs "I don't usually play this song, but tonight my lovely girlfriend is backstage so" Hailee smiles and the crowd cheers "this one is for you my love" she says as she makes eye contact with me. I widen my eyes in confusion, she's playing a song for me?
The beginning of Flashlight starts to play and a smile immediately appears on my face. It's a song that Hailee and I always sing together.
As Hailee sings, tears well up in my eyes as I quietly sing along with her.
As the song goes on it reminds me of all the memories we made together, all the times we were there for each other, all the times we said I love you, all the times we fell asleep in each others arms.... it was honestly beautiful, the crowd was singing along with her and Hailee kept glancing over at me with a big smile on her face.
The song comes to an end and I wipe a couple of tears away that slipped down my cheeks.
"Before I go" Hailee exhales in the microphone "Y/n can you come up here please?" She smiles looking over at me
I smile and in confusion make my way out on the stage, as I appear on stage all I can hear is loud crowd cheers. I walk over to Hailee and instantly pull her in a hug.
"Hi" I whisper to her
"Hi my love" she smiles pulling away "Y/n you are the best thing that happened to me. You were there when no one else was and you are my flashlight. You make me so happy and I love you so so much" Hailee confesses as her eyes stay glued to mine. Her left hand is holding mine and her right one is holding the microphone so everyone can hear. The crowd is cheering really loudly and my eyes begin to well up with tears.
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you" Hailee exhales as she gets on one knee pulling out a ring from her back pocket "Y/n Y/l/n will you marry me?" She smiles. I cover my mouth in shock and nod my head quickly
"Yes! I will marry you" I finally say. Hailee smiles slipping a ring on my finger and pulling me in a long and passionate kiss.
"I love you" I whisper
"I love you too" she smiles as we pull away and face the crowd, who is going absolutely crazy. "Thank you New York! You were amazing!" Hailee shouts in the microphone as we make our way off the stage.
"I can't believe you did that!" I giggle as we enter backstage
"I had to show the whole world how much I love you" Hailee smiles locking our lips once again
"God I love you so much" I mumble
"I love you too my love" Hailee smiles placing her lips on mine
