Alpha Rowan (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER 4

ALPHA Rowan was sitting in his office when he heard a knock from the door. "Come in."

The door opened and his Beta came in. "Alpha." Harry bowed.

"What is it?" Rowan asked.

"Alpha, naimbestigahan ko na ang kaptid ni Miss Nez at Tommy. Miss Nez's sister was indebted from a bank. Nag-loan siya ng malaking halaga at hindi niya 'yon nabayaran sa araw na nakasaad sa kontrata. Then she went to Tommy and Tommy gave her money in expense that they would have sex."

Kumuyom ang kamay ni Alpha Rowan. "That bastard..." Tumingin siya kay Harry. "Saan ginamit ng kapatid ni Nez ang pera?"

"She invested in an Investment Company but it was a scam."

"How about Tommy?"

Tumikhim muna si Harry bago sumagot. "Oh, he owns a company but they are on the brink of bankruptcy. Pero kung babagsak na ang negosyo niya, he is still willing to give Miss Nez a grand wedding. I think he really loves Miss Nez."

"Harry." Rowan warned.

"Sorry, Alpha."

Rowan sighed. "Ganun na ang ibang tao, Harry. It's his pride. Forget it. I know what to do now. Maybe, sa paraan na naiisip ko makukuha ko si Nez mula sa Tommy na 'yon."

"Alpha, is killing involve?" Harry asked.

"No, of course not. Why would I do that? Prince Dimitri will kill me if I kill a weak human." Napailing siya. Leave it to me. Just do what I have told you." Seryosong saad niya.

Yumukod si Harry. "Yes, Alpha. But the wedding is already the day after tomorrow. Can you really do it, Alpha?"

Tumaas ang sulok ng labi ni Rowan saka siya tumayo at tinapik ang balikat ni Harry. "Trust me. And keep this in mind, Shadow Pack will have a Luna."

Tumango si Harry saka yumuko.

"I am Rowan Mejia, your legal husband." Rowan said seriously. "You are already holding the proof that I'm not bluffing."

Umiling si Nez habang hawak-hawak ang sariling ulo. "What happened? Hindi ko maalala."

"Don't worry, I didn't take advantage on you. I know how to respect women." Seryoso pa ring sabi ni Rowan.

"Bakit ako?" Tanong ni Nez.

Ngumiti si Rowan. "Because you are my..." mate. "You fit to be my wife." Tumikhim siya.

Tumingin si Nez kay Rowan. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang dapat niyang isipin. "Why? Hindi nga natin kilala ang isa't-isa."

Rowan took a deep breath. "You're right, we didn't know each other but I trust my instinct."

Hindi na nakipag-argumento si Nez at tumahimik.

"So, anong pinagkakaabalahan mo?" Tanong ni Rowan. Binalikan niya ang niluluto.

Nez sighed. "I'm a pre-school teacher. Lilipat na ako sa ibang school."

"Where?"

"Obviously, in this place." Aniya.

"What a coincidence. Taga-dito ako. This is my house. We can stay there." Ngumiti si Rowan. I can't bring her to the pack house but I have a house.

Nez stared at Rowan. Hindi niya talaga alam kung ano ang iisipin niya sa lalaki. Kilala ba siya nito? Ano ba ang rason kung bakit nito ginawa ang bagay na 'yon. She signed a marriage contract but she couldn't remember it. Hindi niya alam kung totoo ba ang nangyayaring ito o hindi.
