"Ruben, Stop running all over the place!" I yelled while shutting the door with my foot, He just giggled and ran to my bedroom.

I shook my head and sit down the groceries on the counter, These 2 months were eventful and chaotic. Dealing with Ruben and the germans was very hard, to keep him safe and retaliate on them.

Especially when he doesn't know anything about his family, During the months I got him his own private teacher and I taught him Italian so he would understand me during times I need him too.

I sighed and placed the pasta noodles on the counter along with the sauce, "Come get your toys off the floor Ruben!" I demanded while opening the fridge, I hear his little footsteps run into the living room.

The lights suddenly shut off and the glass broke, "Ruben, Ricorda dove ti ho detto di andare quando c'è qualcuno." I whispered grabbing his hands, He nods quickly and I kiss his forehead and he runs off.
(Translation:Remember where I told you to go when someone's here)

I sigh and grab my gun from under the sink in the hidden container, "Can't get a break." I load my gun and cock it back.

I see a black figure then heard a language i'm not familiar with.

Germans, How the fuck did they even find me?

I crawled behind the counter and put my back against it waiting for him to walk past it, I heard his footsteps come closer to me.

I tripped him as soon as he came near then got on top of him repeatedly hitting his head on the ground by his hair.

He finally gave up trying to fight me back and went limp, I checked his pulse to make sure he was dead.

I sigh and turn on the back up generator then dragged his corpse to the garage and called up my clean up guy. I closed the door and went to go find Ruben.

"è sicuro uscire!" I yelled at the top of my lungs while making my way upstairs, I hear his little footsteps and turn around to see him running towards me with his arms open. (Translation: it's safe to come out)

"I'm scared." He whispered into my ear and I hugged him tight and put his head on my shoulder, "Go to your room and get packed I'll be there shortly." I mumbled into his ear putting him back down on the floor.

He nods and wipes his tears then runs into his room, I sighed and ran my hand down my face. I walked into my room and packed all of my things.

I grabbed my guns and money and stashed them into a separate bag, I ran my fingers between my and grabbed everything I needed.

I walked to Rubens room and grabbed him and his things, He laid his head on my shoulder and I jogged downstairs.

"It'll be okay," I whispered into his ear as I sat him down on the couch giving him my phone to occupy him.

My cleaner walked through the broken window stepping on the glass, "What happened?" He asked me as I packed up the food from the fridge.

"Germans found me, I'm gonna go to the safe house," He froze up at the word safe house which made me raise a brow.

I turned around to look at the fridge and in the reflection I saw someone I didn't know creep up near Ruben.

I grab a knife from the knife box and quickly turn around and throw it in his eye, "Ruben Run!" I kicked my clean up guy in his balls.

I grab the pan from the rack and bash his head over it repeatedly, His blood splatter on my face and clothes but I could care less.

I dropped the pan and ran to the closet grabbing a go bag with cash,food, and clothes. "Ruben?!" I yell putting the bag on my shoulder, "He comes out with tears on his face holding my phone in his hand.

"Go in the car, I'll get you when i'm done." I grab some alcohol and pour it all downstairs over the bodies.

"Burn alive." I whisper into the other guys ear, I stick the knife further into his eye but not a lot so it won't kill him.

I light a match and drop it watching everything burn, "Pathetic germans." I run out to the car and start it up.

I wipe the blood off my face and rub Rubens head, "We'll be safe back home," I didn't wanna go back to LA but I needed too for Rubens safety.

I also didn't wanna face Kat.

I couldn't bare to say goodbye to her that time, But as long as I stay away from her she won't find out i'm back in the city.
