Crushes

This is an obvious filler chapter but I liked it as you see Grian and Jimmy's personalities and friendships!

Grian's Perspective-

Grian and Jimmy were walking next to each other as they entered their school.

As they did, they passed by a group of girls who were giggling and gossiping about something.

"I mean, they're totally a couple!" One of them said.

"But I thought he was dating Lizzie!"

"No, they broke up. So he's obviously with Etho!"

Jimmy and Grian exchanged looks before walking over to them.

"Oh! Hi Grian! Hi Jim!" The girls said.

"Hey, er- can you stop talking about Joel and Etho?" Grian asked.

"Why? We're not doing anything- "

"You're shipping real people who have their own lives. That's not okay." Jimmy said, making the girls looked stunned, "So stop."

He and Grian then turned around and left.

As they walked, they passed by Etho, who was talking with Bdubs.

Grian looked over at them and saw Etho blushing.

"Etho likes Bdubs anyway." Grian said as he and his friend continued walking.

"What?" Jimmy asked, tearing his eyes from his cyan haired crush.

"Bdubs and Etho." Grian said, pointing back at Etho.

Jimmy glanced at them and then shrugged.

"I mean...I guess so." Jimmy said.

"On the topic of crushes, what's going on with you and Scar?" Jimmy asked, smirking.

"I could ask you the same thing. What's going on with you and Scott?"

Jimmy blushed.

"I- how did you know?!"

Grian rolled his eyes, "It was obvious you didn't like Tango."

Jimmy hesitated before asking, "Was it really that obvious?"

"Well let's see...you have no classes with Tango, you've never spoken with him, you always stare at Scott, turn red around him, stutter around him, want to spend time with- "

"Alright, alright! I get it!"

Grian smirked.

They continued walking and Grian heard Jimmy mutter,

"I wonder if Joel's bi."

Grian blinked in surprise, "What makes you think that?"

Jimmy shrugged, "I don't know. Lizzie said she thinks he is."

Grian hummed.

"What do you think?" He asked.

Jimmy shrugged again, "I'm not sure. I guess."

Grian thought for a second, "I mean...I could see it."

"I guess..."

Scott then walked past them, talking with Tom; a guy with dark black fluffy hair, glasses, and a black hoodie on that had the Hamilton album cover on it.

Jimmy blushed and said, "H-hi Scott!"

Scott stopped talking and turned around to see Jimmy.

He smiled awkwardly and waved before continuing his conversation with Tom and walking away.

Once they turned the corner, Jimmy's smile faded as he panicked.

"Cod, why did I do that, why did I do that?!"

Grian started laughing as he patted his friend's back.

"Did you see his face?!" Grian laughed.

"Yes, I saw his face!! He probably thinks I'm an awkward idiot!"

"I meannnnn...would he be wrong?"

Jimmy shot him a look and Grian laughed.

"You're an awkward mess." Grian smirked.

Jimmy then spotted someone walking past them and smirked.

"Well let's see how awkward you get around your crush!" Jimmy whispered before pushing Grian into Scar.

Grian stumbled and almost fell over.

"Woah there!" Scar said, grabbing Grian's arm to prevent his fall.

Grian's face turned red as Scar helped him to his feet.

"Hey G!" Scar smiled, "How're you doing?"

"Well, my friend just shoved me, but I guess okay." Grian shrugged.

"Scar, the bell's about to ring in a minute." Scar's friend, Ethan said.

"Oh, okay. Bye Gri! Bye Jim!" Scar said, waving goodbye as he and Ethan walked away.

"Yeah, we should get going as well." Jimmy said as they entered the 5th building and walked into their math class.

"Just in time, boys." Their teacher smiled, nodding at them.

Jimmy and Grian sat down at their desks and smiled at each other.

"Looks like we're even." Jimmy said.

"Not for long." Grian smirked.
