Novalee groaned, raising her arm blocking the sunlight from hitting her face, her brain was pounding against her skull.

The smell of Billy's cologne made her slowly open her eye's, she saw the sleeve of Billy's denim jacket before she realized that she was wearing his jacket and that she fell alseep wearing it.

Fat Louis meowed laying beside her , novalee rubbed her eyes ,"what happened last night fat Louis?" She mumbled

Fat Louis meowed and novalee sigh,"yeah, I partied to hard," she mumbled

Novalee sat up, the covers falling to her lap, she reached out and petted fat Louis,

Novalee looked over at her window as she heard a noise, she shared a look with fat Louis, and she grabbed her pillow , she heard her window being open and she threw the pillow at the person entering her room , making them fall to the floor with a thud

"Ow, what the hell!" Novalee winced a bit before crawling to the end of the bed and seeing billy laying on the floor, the pillow she threw next to him

"I'm so sorry billy! I thought you were an intruder," novalee apologized, sheepishly smiling at billy when he turned to look at her

"Looks like you feeling alright," billy replied standing up , he was only wearing blue jeans, with a white t-shirt, a necklace hanging around his neck.

"Why do you always sneak in through my window? And why do you never use the door?" Novalee questioned as billy came to sit beside her, looking down at her

Billy shrugged ,"maybe I like it when you Try to kill me," novalee chuckled , wincing a bit

"You okay?" Billy questioned concern laced in his voice, novalee nodded ,"uh-huh. Massive hangover," she mumbled turning to lay on her back

"Sorry for stealing your jacket," she said, "don't worry about it, " billy replied with a small shrug

"I'll go get something for your headache," billy told her, standing up and novalee only hummed , an arm over her eye's

Billy stood up and walked out of novalee's room coming face to face with Maureen presccot

"Shouldn't you be coming out of Sidneys room and not novalees?" Maureen questioned

"Sidney has her window locked, nova never locks her window, I was just on my way to sids room," billy replied and Maureen hummed

"Okay, carry on," billy walked passed ,walking towards Sidneys room, watching as Maureen disappeared into her own room, Billy quickly walked downstairs, only to met by Neil prescott who held pain relief and a water bottle in his hands

"Use the front door next time, you're always welcome here," Neil told him, handing him the pain relief and the water bottle

"Thanks for taking care of novalee," Neil said and billy nodded before Neil walked away and billy let out a breath he didn't know he was holding

"Jesus," he mumbled before going back upstairs and into novalee's room.

"Hey, got you some pain relief and a water bottle, well your dad did but...here you go," billy said,

Novalee sat up and took the pills before drinking some water ,"Ugh, I hate hangovers," she complained

"Next time, don't let me drink too much okay? Novalee said and billy nodded ,"I promise," novalee smiled, giving him a thumbs up and he chuckled

She took off the jacket and handed it to billy ,"thanks for letting me borrow it," billy smiled ,"no problem,"

"And thanks for the pain relief and the water bottle," she added standing up and stretching her body, and billy had to avert his eyes when the dress lifted up

"I'll um..go over to sids room," billy said and novalee nodded

"Yeah, talk to you later billy," billy nodded and walked out of novalee's room before this time actually heading to Sidney's room.
