The death's of Sandra macher and Edward macher spread like wildfire. They're deaths made the headlines, it also caught gale weather's attention.
The minute stu had stepped into school grounds, gale was shoving a mic into a face, rapidly asking questions, asking about the deaths of his parents.
Stu didn't say anything, playing the grieving son, he looked down at the ground, trying to walk past the reporters but it was no use,
They wouldn't let him pass, luckily novalee and billy came to his rescue as promised, and got him into school, leaving the reporters outside,
Stu let out a sigh in relief, "thanks guy's. That was suffocating," stu told them,
"Sorry about that, you gonna be okay?" Billy asked, and stu nodded ,giving them a small smile, "yeah, just have to get through the first day right? " stu said,
"Yep, and listen if anyone gives you any trouble, you come and tell us okay?" Novalee said and stu nodded ,"uh-huh,"
"I love you guys," stu said, hugging them, "thank you," he whispered
"Stu! I just heard! I'm so sorry about your parent's!" Tatum said, rushing over, slightly pushing novalee and billy to the side and hugging stu, who awkwardly hugged her back,
"Thank god you weren't home or else...God I don't even want to think about what could've happened to you if you were home last night." Tatum said, slightly shaking her head,
"Do you need anything?" Tatum asked, pulling back from the hug and looking up at stu, who shook his head ,
"No thanks Tatum,I've got billy and nova," stu replied, sending a smile towards novalee and billy,
"Yeah, they can understand better, I mean novalee mom was literally murdered almost a year ago, and Billy's mother left ," Tatum said,
Billy clenched his fist, glaring daggers at Tatum who didn't noticed,
"Jesus Tatum, show some respect, " novalee said, coming over to stu's side,
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I was just saying that you understand the pain he's going through," Tatum said,
"Not extacly, nova doesn't remember her mother enough to grieve her, and my mom left, she not dead, we don't understand stu's pain of losing his parents, but we're going to be there for him anyways," billy said, and Tatum slightly glared at him ,
"I'll be around if you ever need anything, " Tatum said, giving stu a reassuring touch on his arm, before walking away
"I'm sorry," stu quietly apologized, billy and novalee shared a look before looking at stu confused and concern,
"Why are you sorry honey?" Novalee asked, "because I let her touch me, and I couldn't speak up for myself," stu told them
"Hey, none of that, it's not your fault, you don't need to apologize," billy told him, and stu only nodded his head as the Bell rang ,
"I'll see you guy's later," stu mumbled walking away,
"Do..do you think he's bothered by what we did yesterday?" Novalee whispered and billy shook his head, "no, something else is bothering him,"
"Are you okay billy? " novalee asked, turning her head to look at him, He nodded ,"yeah, "
"Come on let's head to class," billy said,
Something was definitely going on with her boys and novalee wanted to know what it was, so she can help them,
She just wished that they would talk to her.
