Novalee let out a deep sigh before she smiled, walking out of her room, her pups running out, fat Louis wasn't far behind ,

Sidney had walked out of her room at the same time ,"Hey no -" she didn't finish her sentence as novalee walked away, downstairs

"Morning, dad," novalee greeted, "Morning nova , you staying for breakfast?" Neil questioned,

"Sorry, dad, but Billy and stu were picking me up at any mome-" novalee was cut off by honking ,

"They're here, bye dad, love you see you later!" Novalee said, grabbing her bag and rushing out the house, towards Billy's car,

Stu had gotten out from the back seat and opened the passenger door , "Morning, nova," stu greeted, and novalee smiled, kissing his cheek ,"Morning stu, thank you honey," she said, getting in, and stu closed ,

"Morning, Billy," novalee kissed Billy's cheek, and Billy smiled at her as stu got back in the car, "Morning nova,"

Billy started to drive again, towards the school, "you feeling alright today?" Stu questioned,

"I feel fine, how about you two?" Novalee replied, stu and Billy glanced at her, not completely believing her

"We're fine," Billy replied, and novalee nodded , "That's great,"

"So, I was thinking about applying to some colleges," novalee started ,"this early? We still have a couple of months before graduation," stu said

"Yeah, I know, but it is nice to have some options available, you know? And it's also nice to do it early, so we won't have to worry about it later," novalee told them,

"We're applying to the same colleges, right?" Stu questioned, looking between novalee and Billy,

"Yeah, we're going to stick together," Billy replied , and stu smiled ,"Awesome!"

"Uh..nova," stu shyly said, and novalee hummed, turning to face stu with a soft smile,

"Would you..uh fill out my forms?" Stu shyly questioned,

"Of course," stu smiled, kissing her cheek, "I love you!"

Novalee giggled, "I love you too, stu, and I love you, Billy,"

"What are you guys doing after school?" Billy suddenly questioned,

"Nothing," novalee replied ," absolutely nothing," stu said ,"why?" They both asked,

Billy smiled ," Because I want to take you guys somewhere, and before you ask where, I am not telling you because I want it to be a surprise," Billy told them,

"I love surprises," stu said, and novalee nodded, "Yeah, me too, "

Billy smiled as he drove into the school's parking lot.

After school, the three of them got back in Billy's car, and Billy started to drive,

"Okay, I can't handle the excitement anymore. Where are we going? " stu questioned,

"Not going to tell you," Billy replied, with a shake of his head, and stu pouted,

"Hey, stu, you wanna play eye spy?" Novalee asked, and stu smiled, nodding,

Novalee and stu played eye spy for almost twenty minutes until Billy finally stopped driving,

"What is this place?" Stu questioned. As he looked out the window,

"It's a flower field. Have you never seen a flower field before?" Billy asked, with a raised eyebrow

Stu shook his head, "No, never, but it's beautiful. How did you find this place?"

"Well, I was just driving one day, and I just found it, come on," Billy said, getting out of the car, stu and novalee exited the car, following Billy,

"It's a field full of sunflowers," stu said, with a small laugh,

"Nova! We can make flower crowns, like we used ," stu excitedly told her, and novalee smiled, nodding before she spotted something, her eyes slightly widening,

"You set up a picnic?" She gasped out, and Billy nodded ,"uh-huh, I uh.. had steve and Casey set it up earlier,"

"We have to thank them later," novalee said , and Billy nodded ,"You're the best, Billy!" Stu said, kissing his cheek, and billu chuckled

"Yeah, you're amazing, billy," novalee said, kissing his other cheek, and Billy blushed, rubbing the back of his neck,

"I just thought.. we could use a date night," Billy told them, "this is an awesome date night. Wait, is that watermelon! " stu rushed forward, and novalee and Billy let out a small laugh,

Novalee grabbed Billy's hand in hers, "Come on,"

The three of them spent the rest of the evening, in the flower field, stu and novalee had made flower crowns, one for each of them,

The sky had turned dark, stu was laying on the grass, looking up at the sky with a smile, billy sat in the middle, looking up, and novalee was lying down next to billy, staring at the sky,

"The stars are really beautiful from here," novalee said,

"Yeah," Billy said, in agreement, "billy, nova," both of them turned to look at stu,

"Can.. can we do this more often? Star gazing, I mean? It's peaceful, and I like it, but I don't want to star gaze alone," stu told them,

"Yeah, we can star gaze every night if you want to," Billy told him, and novalee nodded ,"Yeah, let's do that,"

Stu smiled ,"I really love you guys,"

"We love you too, stu,"
