Billy walked beside stu with a bag in hand while stu was holding a banquet of flowers.

They stopped in front of novalees' hospital room and walked in, seeing novalee wake with a newspaper in hand

"What's that?" Stu questioned, and novalee looked up at him with a slightly surprise look on her face

"And here I thought I was the one with amnesia," novalee joked, Billy chuckled , stu giggled ,"I stole this from one of the nurses, Maureen presccot was my mother right?" Novalee said

"Yeah, she was." Billy replied ,"the guy that killed her, do you really think he's being framed?" She questioned

Billy and stu share a glance, "uh..oh look, I brought you irises , your favorite flower," stu said, changing the subject , putting the flowers in the vase next to novalees bed

Novalee looked at the flowers, a smile appearing on her face ,"I can see why they're my favorite, they're beautiful,"

Billy put the bag down in front of her, and Novalee looked at it ,"What's in it?" She asked

"Gummy bears,jellybeans, and chocolate, your favorite candy," Billy told her ,taking a seat

Novalee looked between stu and Billy with narrowing eyes ,"what are you two guilty about?" She questioned

"What? We're not guilty about anything," stu replied with a shake of his head ,"we just thought we bring you your favorite flowers and snacks," Billy added

Novelee hummed ,"you guy's usually bring me my favorite flowers and snacks when you're guilty about something," she told them

Billy sat up straighter, sharing a look with stu ,"How do you know that?" He asked, and novalee shrugged

"I just do," she said, opening the pack of gummy bears, "so spill it. What did the two of you do? "

"We..uh.." stu trailed off trying to think of something, "we forgot to feed fat, Louis," Billy answered and stu nodded

"We forgot to feed fat Louis, and we are really, really sorry," stu told her ," but it wasn't like it was going to kill him, he needs to go on a diet anyways," Billy added

Novalee offered stu and Billy some gummy bears, and they grabbed a handful of gummy bears ,

"My poor fat Louis must've been starving," novalee said, with a small pout ,"I want to see him, I want to make sure he's okay with my own two eyes," she added

"When you get better, you'll see him," stu told her, "he's safe at my house, can't even go through the doggy door , so he can't leave the house," stu added

"Plus, he gets cuddles from Billy, so he's fine, but I think he misses you because some of the time, he's sad," stu said

"I want to get out of here already," novalee said, falling back, stu and Billy reached out to try and soften her falling back

"Don't throw yourself like that," Billy said with a sigh. "Sorry," novalee sheepishly smiled at him,

"Can you guys stay with me for a little bit longer?" Novalee shyly asked

"Of course!" Stu said , smiling at her ,"Yeah sure," Billy said with a small nod

"Can you help me separate the jellybeans? The purple ones? And the red ones? " novalee questioned

"You love those," Billy told her, opening the jellybeans and dropping them on the small table and starting to separate them.

"Huh. You know, I remember the small things, like the jellybeans, and you're guys guilty faces," she told then

"That's a good thing because it means that you're slowly remembering, I just hope that you remember us one day," stu said

Novalee turned to look at him, reaching out and grabbing his hand in hers . He smiled at her ,"I will remember you guys, I promise you,"

Billy looked over at novalee with a smile , "jellybeans all sorted out, you're Highness,"

Novalee let out a small laugh ,"Thank you, my knight in shining armor," Billy let out a laugh,

"How about you guys tell me more yourselves while I enjoy my jellybeans?" Novalee said

"Sure, I'll go first...."
