Stu was staring at a photo that he held in his hand. It was a picture that was taken a few years ago.

It was him, Billy and novalee. It was them on their first day of high school, All three of them looked so happy, unaware of the trauma that was going to happen.

He was startled by rapid knocking on his front door. He stood up and walked over, opening the door, finding a frantic novalee

"Nova? Are you okay? What happened?" Stu asked, novalee held up the book, and stu's eyes widen, his heart started to race,

"You... you.."his eyes welled up with tears,

"I found the key, and I read your note stu, you... you were going to kill yourself on the day that I had my accident." Novalee told him,

Stu shook his head, "I.. I can't...I'm sorry, nova," stu said,

"I know it's too difficult and hard for you to talk or to remember what happened to you, but you.. you can't just not talk about it, stu," novalee told him,

"I found your suicide note in my journal,please.. just please just talk to me,  I can help you, Billy can help you, but we can only help you if you let us," novalee added, caressing the side of his face,

Stu leaned into her touch before wrapping his arms around her, hiding his face in her neck, and novalee hugged him back,

"I..I need help,...please help me," stu whispered, his voice breaking at the end,

Novalee hugged him tighter, "I promise I will help you."

Stu bit his lip, his leg nervously bouncing up and down as they waited for Billy to arrive.

It was better if he told both of them at the same time.

Stu was slightly startled when Billy's voice rang out ,"Nova? Stu? "

"In the living room," novalee replied, and soon Billy walked into the living room,

Stu reached out and interlocked novalees hand with his, novalee squeezed his hand,

"Is everything okay?" Billy questioned, his eyes darting between novalee and stu,

"I tried to kill myself," stu blurted out, and Billy stared at him ,"what?"

"Show him the note," stu mumbled, and novalee grabbed the book , and handed it to billy, who grabbed the book,

Billy looked down and read, his hold on the book tightening, "when?" He demanded, his voice low

Stu looked down at his lap, and flinched a bit when billy snapped the book close

"When?" He asked again, "T-the day that nova had her accident," stu stuttered out,

"Billy, calm down okay?" Novalee said, and billy turn to look at her, slightly scoffing

"Calm down? Stu tried to kill himself! What If you never had that accident huh? Stu would've gone through with it! He could've died! Or- or what if that phone call came seconds later huh? I would've lost both of you!" Billy shouted,

"Do..do you guy's ever think if both of you die, what would happen to me? If..if I lose one of you, it would destroy me! I can't...I can't loose either of you!" Billy told them, tears clouded his vision

Novalee and stu stood up, going over to billy and wrapping their arms around him, billy tightly wrapped his arms around both of them,

"Stu..promise you won't leave us? "Billy whispered, stu nodded ,"I promise billy, and I'm so sorry,"

"It's okay stu, we'll get through this," Novalee told him,

"My mom hits me and my dad....my dad...he touches me in places dad's shouldn't touch their kids...i..I just wanted to get away from all that." Stu told them ,

Billy's and novalees arms tighten around stu, billy pressed a small kiss to his head as novalee rubbed stu's back in comforting manner,

"You won't have to worry about your parent's anymore stu, I promise you," billy told him,

Stu let out a small sob, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry,"

Billy and novalee held stu, whispering comforting words,

Billy was already planning thirty different ways of killing stu's parent's,

Only problem was that he couldn't do it alone, but he didn't want to involve stu in it, his parents caused him too much pain already but billy knew that stu wouldn't kill his parent's,

Billy glanced down at novalee, he knew that she would do anything for both of them,

Maybe he could convince her to help him.

He hopes that she will help him.
