The song ended , and novalee heard knocking on her door, "Nova? Hey you in there? Could you let us in? It's just me and billy," stu said,

Novalee had gotten up and unlocked the door before getting back in bed, under the covers ,

Billy and stu walked into novalees room, closing and locking the door behind them,
Their hearts broke at the sight of novalee , she laid on her bed listening to her walkman,
Billy and stu walked over, kicking their shoes off and getting in bed with novalee, under the blanket with her,

The music faded as billy took the headphones off, "you okay?" He asked,
"Not really." Novalee replied,"you want to talk about it?" Stu softly asked,
"No," novalee mumbled ,"what do you want us to do?" Billy questioned
"Can you just hold me?and let's just listen to our songs?" Novalee whispered
"Yeah. Of course," billy and stu wrap their arms around novelee, unplugging the headphones from the walkman, music filled the quiet room.
