All By Myself! Right?

As you walked down the streets of Tokyo, you pondered over the question on what to get your mom. "Maybe I should get her a coke. She likes coke," you suggested to yourself. Then you shook your head. "But I bought her a coke last time and that didn't work." You walked for 15 minutes, listing possible gifts. But the more you thought, the more you wondered. "Why can't she understand that I'm not perfect?" You blurted. "I mean, I bet she got a couple bad grades when she was my age!" You shoved your hands into your pocket and kicked a pebble. It was unusually quiet for 5:00. You scanned the streets and realized there was no one there besides her. Quietly, you started singing "The Bird That Crosses The Stars" by Len Kagamine. Gradually, you began to sing louder and louder until you sounded like you didn't have a care in the world. Suddenly, you heard running footsteps. You spun around, but didn't see anyone. "W-who's there?" You stammered. No reply. You weren't sure who was there. Maybe a stalker. Or maybe it was just someone taking a walk. Either way, you didn't want to stay any longer and you quickly walked back home.
