I couldn't believe it. I, Y/N Hunter, was falling for my best friend, Cory Matthews. It was crazy, and I didn't know what to do about it. We had been inseparable since we were kids, and he had always been there for me. But now, I found myself looking at him differently, feeling those butterflies whenever he smiled or cracked a joke.

I had to tell someone about this, and there was only one person I trusted with my secret: Topanga. We had been besties since forever, and she always had the best advice. So one day after school, I decided to spill the beans.

"Topanga, can I talk to you about something?" I asked, fidgeting with my backpack strap.

"Of course, Y/N. What's on your mind?" She smiled warmly, always ready to listen.

I took a deep breath and confessed, "I think I might have a crush on Cory."

Topanga's eyes widened for a moment, and then she chuckled softly. "You've got it bad, huh?"

I blushed, nodding. "Yeah, and I don't know what to do. Do you think I should tell him?"

Topanga's expression turned serious, and she said, "Y/N, you know Cory better than anyone. And you also know he can be a bit oblivious sometimes. Maybe give it some time, let your feelings settle. I'm not saying you shouldn't tell him, but just be careful. You don't want to risk your friendship."

I sighed, grateful for Topanga's advice. "You're right, Topanga. I'll try to keep my feelings in check."

And so, I embarked on a mission to hide my feelings for Cory, even though it wasn't easy. Every day, I tried to act like we always did, laughing at his jokes and going on adventures with him and Topanga. It was torture to see him as just a friend when all I wanted was to hold his hand and be more than that.

One day, as I opened my locker, I found a folded note tucked between my textbooks. My heart raced as I unfolded it, and it read: "Meet me at our spot after school? - Cory."

I turned to Topanga, who happened to be standing nearby, and showed her the note. She looked surprised and said, "You should go, Y/N. Maybe this is your chance to talk things out."

I nodded and hurried to our spot in the park. When I arrived, Cory was already waiting, nervously fidgeting with his backpack straps.

"Hey, Y/N," he greeted with a smile.

"Hey, Cory," I replied, my heart pounding in my chest.

He took a deep breath and said, "I've been thinking a lot lately, and there's something I need to tell you."

My stomach twisted with anticipation. "What is it, Cory?"

Cory looked into my eyes and confessed, "I think I might have feelings for you too, Y/N."

My jaw dropped in surprise. "You do?"

He nodded, his cheeks turning slightly pink. "Yeah, I do. I never realized it before, but now that I think about it, I can't stop thinking about you."

We stood there, staring at each other for a moment, both of us finally admitting our feelings. It was a surreal moment.

As Cory and I started dating, we decided to be cautious and not rush into anything. We wanted to protect our friendship and make sure we were ready for a romantic relationship.

But when we got back to Cory's house, we were met with two very shocked faces. Shawn and Topanga had been waiting for us, and they saw us holding hands.

Shawn's eyes narrowed, and he looked at Cory accusingly. "You went behind my back and started dating my sister?"

Cory quickly stepped forward, his grip on my hand never faltering. "Shawn, I promise I'll never hurt Y/N. I care about her a lot, and I want to make her happy."

Topanga, always the voice of reason, chimed in, "Guys, let's give them a chance. Y/N and Cory are both our friends, and they deserve to be happy together."

After a tense moment, Shawn sighed and gave Cory a nod of approval. "Alright, Matthews, but you better treat her right."

Cory smiled and squeezed my hand. "I will, I promise."

With Shawn's blessing, Cory and I embarked on our journey as a couple, and it was a rollercoaster of emotions, laughter, and love. Our friendship had transformed into something even more beautiful, and we were excited to see where it would take us.
