Chapter 17: Conquering Fear, The Nightmare's Sublimation

ELLIOT MANOR: OVER 50 YEARS AGO.

(Story starts with uzi, N, V, J, tails and Tessa fighting off the hoard of eldritch drones, J slashes some of them apart with her sword, Tessa shoots some of them in the face, V hits them in the head really hard with her golf club, uzi crushes some of them with her solver and throws some of them into each other, tails blasts them to pieces with plasma blasts, and N hits one of them with helmet weapon... but it doesn't do much as the drone hisses at him)

N: AHAHA!

V: HA!

(V bashes the drone's head with her club as it tumbles on the floor)

V: you okay?

(N blushes a bit)

N: y-yeah, I'm good!

V: here, take this.

(She gives him another golf club)

N: ooooh!

(Another drone lunges at N)

N: AH!

(He hits it in the head as goes flying back)

N: oh hohoho!

(Uzi knocks some more drones back with her solver)

Uzi: ugh! This is taking too long!

(She uses her solver to sweep up the remaining eldritch drones before spawning another solver on her other hand to keep the drones all mashed up together as they all squirm)

Uzi: oh, TwinTailCopter92!

(Tails' pod points it's blaster at the cluttered up drones)

Tails: I'm on it, DarkXWolf17!

(The blaster charges up a blast before it fires a large plasma ball at all the drones as it blows them all to pieces as the explosion dies down and the basement key lands on the floor)

Tessa: woah!

(J walks over to the key and picks it up)

J: alright, stud. Here's your key- huh?

(They both notice that everyone else is gone)

Tessa: where'd they go?

(N, V, tails and uzi all run into the library as N is pulling V by her arm)

V: ahh! N, what are you-?!

(N screeches to a halt before turning to tails and uzi)

N: quick! Do what you guys did for me! The-the-the Schrödinger thing!

V: Schrödinger??

N: do you know who these two are?

(He points to tails and uzi)

V: them? Huh. Now that you mention it, they do look... familiar. Wait... why do-?

Tails: V, it'll make things much easier if you just ask yourself how you know us, but not know us.

V: know you, but not...? Uhhhh... EEEEEGGGGH!!!

(She short circuits and shuts down before falling on her back)

N: AH!! Was that supposed to happen?!

Uzi: relax, just give her a second.

(V reboots as her white eyes change to yellow like N's)

V: AAH!! *pant*... *pant*...!

(She sees N looking down at her)

V: N...?
