~Chapter 9~

Your flashlight turned off.. at the worst time possible.. you did everything you could to turn it back on but nothing worked.

Now you were there.. sitting in the dark, all alone..

You started to panic more and more each passing second.

"Okay.. okay.. stay calm (y/n).. no need to be afraid.. it's just the dark, it's not like a monster is gonna come out of-" your sentence was cut short when you heard a sudden noise come from behind you.

You couldn't see anything. God this was the worst time for your flashlight to not be working.

I guess you could say you have a phobia of the dark. You've always hated the dark since you were a kid. Of course there was a good reason why, but there's no need to explain it.

You then heard the same noise and looked behind you. You were about to scream but that's when a wet floor bot came around the corner.

You let out a sigh of relief. You felt even more relieved when the bot's eyes glow up.

The little bot made it's way towards you and looked at you.

"Hey buddy. What are you doing down here?" You smiled softly but all the little robot did was wiggle it's small ears.

You let out a soft chuckle and pat it's head. In return it wiggled it's ears a bit then it moved to you injured leg. Turns out the cut looked even worse..

Blood stained your pants and it was even ripped. It showed at least a 4 inch scar and if you didn't get this checked up then it would lead to an infection..

"Oh that? I just cut myself. Don't worry" after a couple of moments of silence the little bot ran away, or.. more like rolled away into the darkness.

"H-HEY! Where are you going!?" And there you were. Left in the darkness yet again.

But it didn't take long for you to hear a voice. It was very faint but it sounded near by.

"Hello!?" Your voice echoed in the hallway, you're gonna need to start getting used to the dark.

After a few seconds of silence the wet floor bot came to view "oh my god.. I thought you-!" Your sentence was caught off by Vanessa when she also came to view.

Wait.. doesn't she works the night shift? What is she doing here?

"Vanessa?"
"(Y/n)?"

Wait, how did she know you? You only knew her because of Shuko..

~Flashback✨~

You were walking besides Shuko and you guys were having a nice conversation.

"Anyways! Do you have anymore questions?" The both of you stop in front of the Daycare.

"Oh yeah.. let's just say I have to report something.. like the Twins are having an issue. Who would I report it to?"
"Oh! Well you'd have to give it someone then that someone who have to give it to another person.. it's like a whole process"

You let out a sigh, this whole thing was gonna be stressful but Shuko place a reassuring hand on your shoulder.

"Don't worry. Let's just say you want to report it quickly and you have no time. You'll just give it to Vanessa."
"Vanessa?"
"Yeah! You'll probably only see her during the nighshift or whenever. But you leave the paper on her desk and she'll just give it to someone"

It took you a couple of seconds to process this but you think you get the point.

"Thanks Shuko, I'll remember that"
