Every time you think things are going so well. They're actually not. You really need to stop jinxing it..You felt sick. No, more like you felt absolutely shitty.
Almost every minute you would feel nauseous, from time to time you would feel like throwing up but you forced yourself not to.
You acted like you were fine and you kept on saying it was just something you ate.
But you know that wasn't it. Sun knew it. He saw how you were acting now and it was completely different from an hour ago. He was worried and whenever he would try to ask you would brush off the question and act like it was nothing.
It was almost about time for Nap time but you felt too uneasy to stand up. If you stood up you would feel too dizzy but when you sat down you felt a bit better but not a whole lot.
The kids were cleaning up to get ready while you were sitting down at your chair, burying your face in your arms.
You let out a long, low groan. You didn't realize until now that your hand was starting to swell.
Of course for some stupid reason you brushed it off.
Until you felt a hand on your shoulder. A big hand in fact, just by the way how it felt you knew who it was. You slightly looked up to your left to see Sun looking down at you.
"Are you alright Sunshine?.." Sun said, his tone was full of worry and concern. You let out a small hum before speaking up in a weak tone "I'm fine.. done worry about it.. you should just go get the children ready..." You muttered out softly before burying your face in your arms again.
You could feel Sun caressing your shoulder with his thumb, trying his best to comfort you "if anything is bothering you.. please tell me." Sun paused for a moment before you felt his hand leave your shoulder "I'll make sure Moon checks up on you.." he finishes before walking away.
A part of you wanted to be left alone while another part wanted to be comforted by them.
Just to be safe if their arms made you feel all happy, but that feeling lasted for a moment before that pain returned.
The lights soon started to turn off, well more like dim but what's the difference?
You knew Moon was gonna come out and he probably wasn't going to leave you unless you give him a straight answer.
You felt uneasy again, but this time it felt way worse. You decided to take a small nap, maybe even sleep the pain off.
~-~
You tried. For 10 whole damn minutes and you couldn't even take a small nap. It was either you were too uncomfortable in your chair or the pain was just too severe.
You let out a deep sigh as you slowly lift your head up. Their daycare was dark and empty, but then again not too dark.
You knew Moon and the kids were in the napping area so you didn't want to bother them.
You slowly stood up and a wash of dizziness went through your whole body.
"Fuck.." you cursed under you breath as you tried to walk towards the doors but you fail miserably and almost halfway you fell.
But for some reason you didn't make contact with the ground. Instead you felt an arm around your waist and you blinked a couple of times before looking up to see Moon.
For some reason you saw some.. concern in his eyes? That was strange. Moon wasn't the kind of guy to act like he cared about anything.
"You good starlight? You seemed like you just got fucked and couldn't walk." He said in a slight raspy voice, he tried to hold back a grin but he failed as you saw the end of his lips tug up a bit.
