Chapter 20

We just all looked at each other for a second.

Then I said something.

"Uh hey Harry. So uh what a...what are you doing here?" I ask.

He scratched his head.

"Helping out my dad at the tool shop. What about you?" He asks in return.

"Hanging out with my friend Austin." I say looking up at him.

Austin waved.

"How are ya," he says, smiling.

Harry didn't seem to be smiling though.

"I'm good," Harry said looking away for a second.

"So this is Austin?"

"Yeah. He's my really good friend," I said.

"Might as well be best friends," Austin said smiling.

Oh fuck.

(Harry's POV)

"So you guys are best friends now are you?" I ask.

I kinda felt hurt.

"Yeah. I guess." Ari said

Then she shot me a look.

She was slowly shaking her head so he wouldn't see.

"Ohhhh," I say really quiet.

Then I nodded.

"That's nice. Maybe we can all hang out right n-"

"Harry! I need your help!" I heard my dad call.

"Or not," I sigh.

"See you later?" Austin said.

"Yeah. Sure..." I say.

(Ari's POV)

Me and Austin just walked away.

I told him about what happened between me and Harry.

After that we walked to his house.

I met his mom and dad and they were nice.

Then we went up to his room.

"Wow. Superman fan?" I say.

I looked around his walls. There were superman posters and pictures everywhere. I loved it. Superman was my favorite superhero.

"Yep. He's the best. I'm team superman," he says looking up to a poster.

"Same!" I say.

"Man this is literally why we're friends," he laughs.

I nodded.

"So..." He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Uh...do you have any video games that we can play?" I asked.

"Oh yes I do!"

He ran over to his bed and lifted it the sheet and looked under the bed.

He pulled out a box full of games.

"I've got Scary games, violent games, battle games, war ga-"

"Dang you like a lot of the danger games," I chuckled pulling out a gun game.
