Heading Out

While Sakura had just finished doing her thing with Kankuro we all went in. "You're awesome, Sakura chan!" Naruto said amazed. We just heard Sakura say that Kankuro's life is no longer in danger, so I guess the job here is done!

Everyone sighed out in relief that he didn't die. "We can't relax just yet. There's still trace amounts of poison flowing through his system. We need to make an antidote" Sakura informs.

"Understood. If there's anything you need, just say the word" One of the sand civilians said.

"First, do you have any medical herbs in the village?" Sakura asked. "We do!" Another Sand member says. "Good. Please remove all bandages" Sakura says as she began ordering the Suna shinobi around.

I stepped outside if the room, following Kakashi and Naruto. A Suna Nin was standing with Naruto and Kakashi so I decided to see what was going on.

"Baki sama, here's the reply from Konoha's village" another Suna shinobi had walked up to us, handing Baki a message scroll.

"It's from Hokage sama" Baki says, having the scroll opened before handing it to Kakashi. Me and Naruro look towards Kaka sensei waiting for him to read it out loud.

Kakashi only looked at the scroll yet sighed. "What did granny Tsunade say!" Naruto asked. Kakashi looks at me then Naruto.

"She sent Gai's team here as reinforcements"

Naruto grunts. I felt a smile plaster isn't my lips. "That means.. Neji kun.." I trailed off blushing thinking of Neji being here.

"Fuzzy-brow's sensei's team?" Naruto asked himself. He now had the scroll reading it and I leaned over his shoulder to read too.

"I bet everyone's gotten stronger right?" Naruto asked me. I nod smiling. "Mm! Much stronger" I answered.

"I heard that Neji's already a jonin.." Naruto trailed off, clenching onto the scroll. "Yoshi! We don't have time to take it easy! Let's go after Akatsuki right now dattebayo!" Naruto says before running off.

He didn't get far once Kakashi spoke. "Pursuing them... That's a great idea. But do you know where they are?" Kakashi tell Naruto. Or asked...? Maybe both!

Naruto stops, sulking, before turning around. I giggle. "it's ok, Naruto kun"

"If I may ask, how are you tracking Akatsuki?" I heard Kaka-sensei ask Baki. Interested I listen in on their conversation.

"Kankurou went out first, by himself, and ended up like that. Afterwards, I sent out a pursuit squad, but there's been no word from them. Considering the situation, they're already...." Baki trails off.

"Also one if the village superiors has gone missing. I'd like to think he wasn't taken down so easily" Baki finishes.

I'm sure Kakashi asked HOW he was tracking Akatsuki, not HOW he lost his people..

"So you've completely lost track if them?" Kakashi asks. "Yeah.. Unfortunately" Baki says quite embarrassed.

"Baki sama! Kankurou's regains consciousness! One of the Suna nin in the room informs. Grunts came from some of us.

"Kankurou are you alright?!" Temari asks, leaning over him in his sight of vision, "huh, you're back already, Temari?" Kankurou asked weakly.

"I heard the village was in danger.." Temari replied "sorry for making you worry" Kankurou murmurs.

"Baka don't say stupid things like that.." Temari says softly.

"Please take me to were Kankurou kun fought. I may not look it, But I'm a pro at tracking" Kaka sensei tells Baki.
