Reethu POV:

Entering the house, I closed the door behind me, a smile playing on my lips as I ran a hand through my wet hair. After kicking off my heels, I made my way to my room.

"Seems like you had fun?" my dad's voice greeted me as he leaned against the doorframe.

"Well, you could say that," I replied, running a hand through my hair once more.

"By the way, the match is on Monday, so I'll have to go to practice tomorrow," I informed him, to which he nodded in understanding.

"Did you guys kiss?" he suddenly asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Dad!" I exclaimed, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"So, you did," he smirked knowingly. "Goodnight, Dad," I chuckled, retreating into my room.

Grabbing a towel, I stepped into the shower, shedding my wet clothes. After luxuriating in a long shower, I emerged clad in a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants, towelling dry my hair.

Sitting on my bed, I inspected my cricket kit, ensuring all my gear was in good condition before stowing it away. As I sat there basking in the afterglow of the evening, memories of Shubman flooded my mind like a tidal wave. I couldn't shake off the image of him standing at my doorstep, looking effortlessly handsome in his crisp blue suit. The way his eyes lit up when he saw me, it felt like time stood still for a moment.

"He looked so dashing," I murmured to myself, a soft smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "Like something out of a movie."

I couldn't help but replay the scene in my mind, from the way he held my hand as we walked to the car, to the gentle touch of his fingers intertwined with mine. It was like a dream come true, being with him felt so natural, so right.

As I reminisced about our conversation during the drive, a blush crept up my cheeks. The way he had teased me about the JNU YouTube channel, it was both endearing and intriguing. I couldn't wait to see his reaction when he found out about my little surprise.

"And that kiss..." I trailed off, my heart fluttering at the memory. It was so unexpected, yet so perfect. The way he had asked for permission, his eyes filled with genuine affection, it made my heart melt.

"He's such a sweetheart," I whispered to myself, feeling a surge of warmth wash over me. "I'm so lucky to have him."

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't even realize that I had been twirling a lock of hair around my finger until my phone buzzed with a notification. It was a message from Shubman.

"Just got home. Can't stop thinking about you. 😊"

I couldn't help but giggle at his message, feeling butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "Me too," I typed back. As I lounged on the bed, my mind couldn't help but wander back to how effortlessly hot Shubman looked in that blue suit.

The way it hugged his frame just right, accentuating his broad shoulders and lean physique, it was like something out of a fashion magazine.

"He looked like he walked straight off a runway," I mused to myself, a playful grin tugging at my lips. "I swear, he could make anything look good."

The image of him standing there, his dark hair slightly tousled, his eyes sparkling with mischief, it was enough to make my heart skip a beat. And that smile of his, it was like sunshine on a rainy day, warming me from the inside out.

"Seriously, how does he manage to look so good all the time?" I chuckled to myself, shaking my head in amusement. "It's almost unfair."

But beyond his striking appearance, it was his personality that truly captivated me. The way he was always so caring and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable and happy, it was incredibly endearing.

"He's not just hot, he's the whole package," I thought, a fond smile gracing my lips. "And I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have him."

With my preparations complete, I set an alarm for the next day and slipped beneath the covers, ready to embrace the night.

Shubman POV:

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, groggily answering the call. "Abey ut saale. Time dhas hai," Ishan's voice boomed through the phone.

"Tho kya hua?" I mumbled, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

"Ham aaj ghoomane vaale the na?" he reminded me.

"Oh, yeah," I muttered, slowly rousing myself from bed. "Theek hai mujhe kuchh samay do. Main taiyaar ho jaoonga."

"achchha pahale daravaaza kholo, kyonki main aur Abhishek pichhale kuchh minaton se tumhaare ghar ke saamane baithe hain," Ishan instructed before hanging up.

Sighing, I made my way downstairs to let Ishan and Abhishek inside before heading back up to get ready. After some time, I joined them downstairs, clad in a t-shirt.

"Let's go, yeah?" Abhay suggested, and I nodded, hopping into the passenger seat as Ishan took the wheel and Abhay settled in the back.

"Why am I always in the backseat?" Abhay groaned.

"Because you're too slow," I teased, earning a chuckle from Ishan.

"Why aren't you hanging out with your girlfriend?" Ishan inquired, curiosity evident in his voice.

"Because she's busy today. Oh, and she told me to switch on the live stream, which starts tomorrow at 9 am. Some JNU YouTube channel," I explained.

"Hey, my friend studies at that university," Abhishek chimed in. "Wait, let me open that YouTube channel," he said, handing me his phone as Ishan pulled up at a cafe.

Perusing the channel, I discovered that they host annual cricket matches, with the finals scheduled for tomorrow.

"Do you think?" I began, knowing Ishan would catch my drift. "Definitely," he confirmed, and I nodded in agreement.

"Can we eat?" Abhay interjected. "I'm starving," he added with a pout. Ishan went to place our orders, and soon we were enjoying a meal together.

Afterwards, we headed to the arcade, where we bumped into a few fans, extending our outing. Despite missing Reethu's presence, we had a good time. Eventually, we ended up back at my place, crashing on the couch to watch a movie.

Reethu POV:

The day had been filled with intense practice sessions in preparation for tomorrow's finals. Now, all of us were gathered in the dressing room, feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves as we geared up for the big day.

With the anticipation building, I couldn't wait to hit the ground running and give it my all in the finals.
