Let's have a baby y'all! 👶🏼

Toby is coming a month early due to my health issues and needing spine surgery ASAP! My spine has been in so much pain near the end of this pregnancy, the worst out of all of my pregnancies. I'm just glad we made it to a safe point where Toby most likely won't need any NICU time ❤️

After a long discussion with all my doctors, we decided a scheduled c-section would be the safest delivery for Toby due to me having my spine issue and needing to be watched because of it. Thankfully my spine issue isn't near where an epidural has to go so I am able to be awake during the c-section and not have to go under anesthesia.

While I'm sad that I couldn't have another home water birth like we did with Lainey, I am willing to do anything to make sure both Toby and I are healthy and happy, and if this is what is the safest, then that is what we will do. We are just so excited to be welcoming another child into our family and we just want him and myself safe ❤️

So, let's do this! Let's welcome baby Toby into the world! 👶🏼

Toby Matthew Bruce Creedon-Van Reekum

He's perfect ✨

Toby is named after two special people in our lives. We couldn't just pick one or the other, so we decided to do both. Toby is the only child in our family with two middle names but he's the youngest and that makes him special to us!

Matthew is after @mattoutman, someone who has been like a brother to both of us for many years but a brother to me since I was a young child. Matt often joked to us about waiting for his turn to have his name picked as a middle name (since all of our kids have family names as middle names) Well, Matt, your turn is finally here!

Bruce is after @bruce_griffin, one of our very best friends. Bruce was Mike's first best friend when he moved from Virginia to California, helping him adjust and accept his authentic self. Bruce is also my best friend who I love so much. We had to have our best friend be included as well. (We have a video of us telling him and ugh so emotional 🥺😭)

We are so happy to have Toby into our family and for our family to feel complete. ✨

Ten perfect children. When we thought we would never have a family after experiencing infertility in the beginning of our marriage, having ten children is a dream come true.

Also, thank you all so much for all of the love and prayers during this whole pregnancy, it was a rough one due to my foot and spine issues (especially the spine issues) but we made it through and have the best prize, baby Toby 🩵
