"Who would have guessed that this year's valedictorian would be Salah" Success says
"I'ld have you know that my boyfriend is the top student " Mary chips in
"Really, how does he do that? He behaves like a total fool." Success says
"He behaves like a fool around Mary and we always see him around Mary. If you truly know the guy, he's pretty smart. " Comfort says
"Hmm" Success nods "that's new"
"I'm just gonna pretend like you didn't just call my boyfriend a fool" Mary directs the statement to Success
"Whatever Mae" Success dismisses her
"So what are we doing after the ceremony?" Precious asks
"Yeah" Amanda says "we never thought about that"
"Probably just take more pics, eat and go home to sleep because tomorrow is the real day" Betty does a little dance on her seat.
"Oh prom" Mary says
It's an unofficial prom organised by the graduating class.
"– So, my fellow graduates, always believe in yourselves, and let’s conquer every challenge that is ahead of us. Thank you."
The graduating students give a standing ovation. Some even as far as shouting praises.

"Aw look at them" Comfort and Aliyah watch Zainab and David hugging.
David releases her from the hug and cleans her tears while ignoring the tears falling from his eyes.
Zainab instead cleans his tears with her uniform sleeve.
"What's going on? " Prosper asks
"You know Zainab is staying another year so she won't be seeing David again. " Aliyah explains
"And David would be traveling to Abuja to enroll in a sports academy " Comfort continues
"Oh wow" Prosper's eyes bulge. "That's big"
"He got a scholarship " Comfort adds
"I can see why they look so sad" Prosper joins them to watch David and Zainab comfort each other
"So they won't be seeing each other until David comes home during holidays or comes here for competitions" Prosper says
"Yes" Aliyah sighs "it's making me feel down"
"Let's go and tease those love birds" Comfort suggests and they follow behind her. They pass the couple and chorus an "aww"
The couple look at them embarrassed and try to walk away but the girls continue
"Is this David I see crying?" Aliyah laughs
"The Big dawg crying?" Prosper crosses her arms and gives a shocked expression
"And so?" Zainab comes to his defense " leave us alone" she drags David away
"Na play we dey play o!(we are just joking)" Comfort shouts after them

"Cheese!" They chorus as Joseph takes the girls' group photo.
"Lemme see" Amanda runs to collect her phone from his hand. "Wow you really know how to take a good picture"
"Ofcourse I can " he raises his shoulders in pride
"Let's eat I'm famished " Success says
"I'm famished " Prosper repeats in a terrible British accent
"It's not only famished" Comfort says to Aliyah
"Come and eat oh" Precious pulls out a cooler of food from the back of the boot of her mum's car. She brings out takeaway plates of jollof rice, with plantain and chicken. "Grab a drink " she points at another cooler filled with different sodas.
The girls don't need to hear it twice. They each grab a plate and a drink and start devouring the meal.
"So the prom tomorrow is gonna be really wierd"
"A casual prom" Amanda squeezes her face into a disgusted expression " who thought of that lame idea"
"Happi" Precious responds "I was sitting in the principal's office when she came in with the idea"
"She should have atleast made us vote" Betty says
"Yes" Prosper says " I had already bought my expensive designer gown"
As if it was planned , they all start coughing, fake coughing ofcourse.
"Hmm" Amanda looks at Prosper with a judging look
"What? It's designer! " Prosper defends herself.
"We didn't say anything. Did we?" Amanda turns to the other girls and they all chorus "no"
"See.." Amanda shrugs
"But Precious why are you always in the principal's office?" Betty asks
"Yeah I wanted to ask too. It's always 'Miss Precious report to the principal's office' why are you always getting in trouble?" Mary says
"I'm not always getting in trouble..." Precious says
"Then what other reason -" Prosper asks
"Allow me to land(let me finish ).Since we are already graduating, I can let it out. I was a spy for the principal for our class. He had spies for each class that give reports on teachers and students " she explains
"Oh"they all chorus
"But why would he choose you" Betty asks
"Okay that's enough questions" Success claps to get their attention.

"As the music starts" Maxwell the MC for the prom yells into the mic "get on the dance floor"
The students shout in response. A song starts playing. Maxwell runs to Success "let's Dance"
"This mc work you are doing, me , I don't like it" she frowns at him
"I'm sorry"
"I'm just telling you now" she frowns and crosses her arms "I need my date beside me"
"You know there is nothing else I can do. Let me use this window to spend sometime with you. Come on " he drags her to the dance floor

"And now performing, Golden Girls!!!" Maxwell introduces them.
"Hello guys" Amanda greets the crowd through the mic "I just want to thank you guys for all your support. We started by just dancing and singing for you guys and now we are known here in Nigeria and even abroad"
The crowd applauds
"This would be the last time we perform for all of you but we are honoured and we say "we love you" the girls join to chorus the last part.
After the performance, they hug each other and leave the stage.

After the party, they all stand on the stage , some Infront of the stage and take a group picture.
Happiness is the theme of the picture and they can't have it any other way.
