"I'm not alone
I know I got you here with me"

I looked at myself in the mirror once again, checking myself out. I looked so good with a sleeveless tube top with a shrug shirt and jeans completed with a pair of addidas sneakers. I made sure they were a bit high because...I was kinda short. Kinda.

After spraying perfume on myself and taking my purse, tucking my phone and some other stuff in, I made my way downstairs to see Andrew on the couch with his laptop. He paused the movie he was watching, turning around to take in what I was wearing.

"You and Aimee might as well be sisters." He joked, making me giggle. "Are you sure you don't want me to drop you?"

"No I'll walk."

"Since when did you start to prefer walks?"

Just ever since I went on a walk with Xavier the other day.

"I went on one recently and enjoyed it, so I wanted to give it another try."

"Sure. Tell Aimee hi for me." I rolled my eyes at him in which he replied with a boyish grin before he unpaused his movie. "I'll lock the door too ok?" He said not looking away from his laptop.

"Ok thanks." I told him before shutting the door behind me, not being able to stop myself from admiring our beautiful front yard before closing the gate and waving to the guards.

I was too distracted as I looked down at my sketchbook in my hands, the beautiful aesthetic sky looking back at me and filling me with pride, but then I bumped into someone. And from the feeling I got when I felt his chest, I somehow immediately knew who it was.

I looked up only to be caught in Xavier's blue eyes. But our look only lasted for a second before he placed his hand on my shoulder and shifted me back a little. I forgot my hands were on his chest also holding my book and chose to pretend I still did for some reason, and thankfully, he didn't seem to mind.

He was wearing a black t shirt with grey sweatpants, but he still looked so good. And I'm sure not only me thinks that judging from the secret looks I see people giving him.

Good thing I wore high shoes too because Xavier was kinda tall. Kinda.

"Im starting to think you're following me." I said accusingly but still teasing. "You keep bumping into me coincidentally ever since we started this deal."

"We've always been bumping into each other but you are always wi-"

"With Jason everytime to notice? I've heard that a lot of times before why do you keep reminding me?" I said removing my hand from his chest and folding my arms against my mine in annoyance.

"I'm crossing a line?"

"No you're free to pry."

"How is that a sentence?" He chuckled as I shrugged, smiling.

"I don't know. I don't have any deep secrets...but do you?" I took a step back for emphasis.

"Of course not."

"Hmmm good. Well I should be going now." It was then he began to look me up and down taking in what I was wearing, unknowingly lingering on somewhere around my chest and tummy. The way he looked at me gave me feelings I couldn't really describe. But they're definitely not butterflies.

Nope.

But those feelings intensified once he looked back at me with something strong in his eyes that I couldn't really pin down. But then I remembered where we were and that there were people around, even though they were very few. As I took a step back, forcing myself to look away, he noticed the sketchbook in my hands.
