"In the end
Can we trust friends
Or do we just have to pretend?"

I sat back in my seat, trying to calm my nerves unsuccessfully. Only If I had a dollar for everytime I have to do this -try to control my nervousness almost every time I go out. I inhaled the coffee smell all around, and oddly enough, that was what calmed me down. A bit. Only half. Kind of.

Ok maybe I'm confused, but atleast I know I'm calmer now. Then I saw him. All of a sudden, the nerves came back.

No it's not Xavier.

I and Eli agreed to meet after talking online yesterday after I had sobered up. Needless to say, I'm embarrassed.

I kissed a random stranger! Well, not completely a stranger...but still! I couldn't believe that.

Remind me to never get drunk again.

I put a smile on my face once he sat Infront of me, an amused smile playing on his lips. That I once kissed-

SHUTUP!

"Hey Boss." I couldn't help but let out a giggle.

"Don't tell me you're going to keep calling me that."

"You don't like it?"

"Not that...it makes me sound older." He chuckled.

"Yes sir."

"It's the same thing!"

"Sorry mam."

He had on a serious expression as I narrowed my eyes at him, before we both started laughing. Then we ordered.

"Um...about that kiss..."

He suddenly became serious, the grin he had on his face immediately dissapearing.

"Oh, God I'm so sorry, you were drunk and I still allowed that and in a way I was taking advantage of you, and I shouldn't have done that so I understand if you hate me and want to behead me-" I couldn't help but start laughing at the fact he's actually serious about what he's saying.

"Its not funny!"

"You think I can behead you?" I said after my laughter died down. And that only happened because the waiter appeared.

"Girl power?" He grinned.

"Nice to know you support women, but still." I took a sip of my iced tea. "Its ok, I'm not mad. I mean, I'm sure you're not really sorry about it. It was clear you liked it."

"Hey! Says the one who was begging for more."

"I did not!"

"Your eyes said it all."

Seriously, that's the second time someone's telling me that.

"So, does your boyfriend hate me now?"

"Just a bit."

"Does he know you're here?"

"Well...." He gasped.

"Hiding things from your own boyfriend Amy? Communication is key." He said matter of factly.

"I know I know but..."

Telling Xavier I'm going to meet the guy I kissed at the bar in front of him? Yeah no. Maybe later.

"You know what? Forget that, I like being your little secret." He winked at me, and I found myself blushing despite the fact Xavier popped up in my head.
