One month later...

The sound of Aanya's infectious giggles filled the air as she playfully darted down the corridors, with Dushala trailing behind her, wearing a glare that could melt ice. Each step echoed with the rhythm of their laughter, bringing life to the usually quiet hallways.

"You can't catch me!" Aanya twirled around, cheekily taunting Dushala by sticking out her tongue in jest. Her eyes sparkled mischievously, daring her pursuer to prove her wrong.

"Tum toh nahi bachne wali aaj, Aanya," Dushala quipped, increasing her pace to match Aanya's quick strides. Determination etched across her face, she was determined to prove her friend wrong and finally catch her.

As they raced through the corridor, Aanya's eyes widened in surprise as she caught sight of the maids approaching from the opposite end, their hands delicately holding plates adorned with a vibrant bouquet of flowers. Without thinking twice, Aanya effortlessly grabbed one of the plates and began twirling it around, inadvertently causing the flowers to scatter above them like a gentle rain shower. Petals danced through the air, creating a whimsical scene that painted the atmosphere with vivid colors.

Caught up in the beauty of the moment, Aanya momentarily lost her footing and felt her leg twist beneath her weight. Just as she was about to fall, a strong hand appeared, grasping hers and swiftly preventing her descent. The flowers continued their graceful descent, adding an enchanting touch to the scene unfolding before them.

Aanya timidly opened her eyes, only to find herself staring into Karna's warm, soft brown eyes. She slowly stood up, feeling a mix of gratitude, surprise, and a hint of embarrassment. "Sorry, Angraj," she mumbled apologetically, biting her lip in anticipation of his response.

Karna found himself completely entranced by Aanya. As he watched her delicately brush the petals out of her hair, he couldn't help but be captivated. The way she moved with grace, her fingers gliding through her tresses like a gentle breeze, left him spellbound.

He was awestruck by the soft murmurs that escaped her lips, sweet melodies that filled the space between them, leaving him breathless. Every word she uttered seemed to carry an enchanting allure, drawing him closer to her. And when she finally turned to look at him, her eyes sparkling with warmth, a radiant smile gracing her face, his heart skipped a beat.

"Sorry," Aanya's hesitant voice trailed off as she apologized for her actions, clearly feeling self-conscious.

Karna interrupted her softly, a warm smile lighting up his face. "No need to apologize."

A playful giggle escaped her lips as she pointed towards his disheveled hair, indicating that there were also flowers stuck in it. Karna looked at her with confusion until she held her smile and said, "Let me help you with that."

Karna's heart skipped a beat as he locked eyes with her.

Aanya, stepping closer, tiptoed and gently brushed away the petal from his hair. The mere touch of her fingertips sent shivers down his spine, and his gaze remained fixated on her face, utterly captivated by her radiance.

"Thank you," Karna finally managed to find his voice, his heart fluttering.

Aanya shrugged casually, a warm smile lighting up her lips. "Anytime," she replied cheerfully. "By the way, didn't you mention yesterday that you were going to Ang Pradesh?" Aanya asked playfully, raising an eyebrow.

She gasped melodramatically, placing her hands over her heart. "Oh no, Angraj! Did you lie just to get rid of me?" she teased.

Karna chuckled, well accustomed to her playful antics over the past month.
