Looks like there's been some confusion about Aanya's scene in Dyutsabha...
1) Why wasn't Aanya able to use her powers?
Remember Kanha mentioning the baby being protected in Chapter 86? That's part of it. Plus, Aanya needs focus for her powers and extreme emotions, which was tough with the pain. Jayadrath's surprise attack left her off guard, making it even harder to concentrate.
2) Why didn't Aanya fight back?
Go re-read the chapter, imagining yourself pregnant and in pain. There's your answer, right? There's a reason I included the pregnancy details. While Aanya definitely fought back, her physical strength is limited right now, and being pregnant doesn't exactly make things easier.
3) Where was Karna during this incident?
He was there, I mentioned him briefly in the chapter. But, he's tied to Duryodhana. Speaking up wasn't an option for him. Plus, unlike the original Mahabharata where he insults Draupadi, Karna would never dream of calling Aanya anything disrespectful.
