I pulled into the driveway. Roman was right there waiting for me.
"Zara."
"Hey Roman", I replied.
He tried to give me a hug, but I dodged it.
"What's wrong?"
"Really?"
"What?"
"You think everything is ok?", I asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about Norma."
"What about her?", he asked.
"I want to know if what she said was true."
He looked at me.
"Zara, she kidnapped you and took you to a place where you were held captive."
"I know that, but that doesn't change the situation", I replied.
"I didn't say it did, but Madama is still a big issue and now that we know she'll be here sooner, we can't let anything come between us."
"Just answer the question."
"I did."
"I'm not talking about Madama, I'm talking about you and me."
He tried to touch me but I pulled away.
"Just tell me", I said.
Ryan and the others came out.
"Okay, I may have known that me and you were going to cross paths, so I might have imprinted on you."
My eyes grew big.
"You did what?!"
"Zara I-"
"No! You imprinted on me just so would go along with you!", I replied angrily.
"I didn't want to."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, but I had to make sure you were the one", he replied.
"And if I wasn't the one, then what?"
"I would've still chosen you."
I scoffed.
"I cannot believe you", I said.
"Zara please."
"No."
"But—"
"I said no Roman!", I yelled.
I went to get in my dad's truck but he blocked me.
"You know I did it because I care about you. I knew there was hope", Roman said.
I sighed.
"I have to go."
He moved out the way and I pulled out the driveway and drove off.
Roman tried to run after me, but Ryan stopped him.
"Just let her go man."

I drove down the road and didn't look back. I was so upset with Roman. How could he use me to get what he wanted? I was not some puppet that you could just control. And even though his intentions weren't bad, he still lied to me. I began crying. It hurt to know that the guy I loved would do this to me. Some people would say I'm over exaggerating, but I don't think I am. He lied and he was wrong for that.

It was a painful night for me. I felt like I have been broken yet again. It wouldn't do me any good to mourn about it. I would just go to sleep with a heavy heart. The man I loved might kept the truth from me. Now I would be sad as the days go by.
