Misunderstandings and More

***

As the car journeyed towards the hospital, Aera couldn't help but sneak occasional glances at Taehyung. Who could blame her? Taehyung was like a living deity, an embodiment of perfection. His breathtaking handsomeness and beauty seemed almost otherworldly, as though he might shatter with a mere touch.

His triangular face featured a sharp, chiseled jawline that accentuated his tall, statuesque figure. His eyes, a mesmerizing honey hue, possessed a unique quality, with one eyelid sporting a double fold while the other remained monolid, giving them an almost ethereal charm. His lips, flawlessly shaped, appeared irresistibly tempting, making one consider kissing him without a second thought.

In all honesty, Taehyung exuded an aura that was more akin to a captivating devil than an angelic god. With his lustrous, dark black hair and a mischievous smirk that oozed sensuality, he had the power to tempt almost anyone who crossed his path. While Taehyung was renowned as a director, it was apparent that he could easily overshadow any model or actor with his exceptional looks and talent.

As the car eventually came to a stop, Aera gently poked Taehyung on the shoulder, breaking the enchanting spell he seemed to cast inadvertently. Taehyung met her gaze, a customary gesture of his, and inathat moment, his heart skipped a beat.

With furrowed eyebrows, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion. He began to contemplate whether he should consult a doctor about his heart, a thought that had crossed his mind as they arrived at the hospital. Stepping out of the car, he moved to open Aera's door, an act of chivalry that revealed his considerate nature.

As Aera attempted to exit the vehicle, Taehyung effortlessly scooped her up in a bridal style. A gasp escaped her lips, and a whirlwind of butterflies took flight within her stomach. Taehyung's eyes met hers once more, and with each exchange, their hearts seemed to flutter in unison.

Taehyung couldn't help but acknowledge that there might indeed be a problem with his heart, but it was a problem he was willing to embrace as long as it meant he could continue sharing moments with Aera. He briefly attempted to make eye contact with a passerby, who gave him a side-eye, unaware of the swirling emotions within Taehyung's heart.

Aera's laughter was music to Taehyung's ears, and once again, his heart couldn't help but flutter. He observed her with a keen eye as they strolled together. Her chestnut brown hair was neatly tied into a playful ponytail, accentuating her heart-shaped face, which added a touch of adorableness to her overall appearance.

Her eyes, a deep shade of brown bordering on black, were slender and perfectly suited to her face, exuding a captivating allure. Aera's lips also formed a charming heart shape, and her petite nose added an extra touch of cuteness to her features. In essence, she was a perfect 10 on the beauty scale, and Taehyung couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought of her having a boyfriend.

After they arrived at the hospital, Taehyung accompanied Aera as she underwent the necessary medical examinations. The doctor's diagnosis confirmed that Aera had suffered a fracture in her foot due to the weight of the shopping cart that had rolled over it.

Taehyung's sense of guilt washed over him, and he couldn't apologize enough, bowing deeply at a 90-degree angle. Aera, however, quickly assured him that it wasn't a problem, sharing that she was somewhat clumsy and had experienced a few broken bones in the past.

Eventually, after all the medical procedures and casting were complete, Taehyung kindly offered to drop Aera off at her home. She graciously accepted his offer, and as they departed the hospital together, an unspoken understanding lingered between them. Both felt that their encounter was not destined to be their last.

Taehyung was nestled among his pillows, enjoying a peaceful slumber when an unexpected force sent him tumbling off his cozy bed. Blinking with a mix of confusion and discomfort, still half in dreamland, he found himself confronted by a visibly agitated Jungkook.

"Taehyung, you told me she was into me, but look at this!" Jungkook's voice dripped with frustration as he shoved his phone right up to Taehyung's groggy face. Evidently, Jungkook had stumbled upon some article that had set his emotions ablaze. At this moment, Taehyung deeply regretted ever revealing his door password to Jungkook.

Blinking his eyes a few times in an effort to clear his vision, Taehyung squinted at the glaring screen of Jungkook's phone. The sight that met his eyes sent a jolt through him, prompting him to leap from the floor and take a seat on the bed next to Jungkook, who was sporting a forlorn pout.

With swift motions, Taehyung snatched the phone from Jungkook's hand and began perusing the article. "Kim Seokjin and Kang Jiwoo spotted on a date..." Taehyung muttered aloud as he scanned the content. He looked at Jungkook with a perplexed expression before shifting his gaze back to the phone screen.

"I had no idea Jin knew Jiwoo," Taehyung remarked with genuine surprise. Jungkook, however, turned his head abruptly, directing an incredulous look at Taehyung.

"Do you actually know this Seokjin guy?" Jungkook inquired, squinting at Taehyung with a hint of suspicion in his eyes.

Taehyung nodded affirmatively, shaking off his own astonishment at the situation. "Of course! I'm a director, and he's one of the most renowned actors out there. I've collaborated with him countless times, and I must say he's exceptionally talented. The guy practically shines on camera." Taehyung couldn't help but sing praises for Jin, but it only seemed to deepen the melancholy in Jungkook's pout.

"Of course, why would she choose me when she could go on a date with this super handsome dude," Jungkook muttered with a trace of dejection, his voice muffled as he buried his face into the pillow. Taehyung couldn't help but notice the hint of vulnerability in Jungkook's words.

Concerned, Taehyung gently inquired, "Jungkook, are you... crying?" He watched as Jungkook shook his head while emitting soft sniffs. Jungkook's face remained hidden within the comforting embrace of the pillow, leaving Taehyung uncertain about the true extent of his friend's emotions.

Taehyung, however, couldn't ignore the turmoil his friend was experiencing. Leaning closer to Jungkook, he voiced his thoughts gently, "You do realize, Jungkook, that you've only met her twice, right?"

Reluctantly lifting his head from the pillow, Jungkook shot Taehyung an irate pout. "I know, but that doesn't mean my feelings for her are insignificant," he admitted with a trace of frustration coloring his tone.

Seeking to provide some perspective, Taehyung offered, "Are you even certain they're dating? It could be just a friendly meetup, you know. Jimin is best friends with Jin, and he might have set them up or something. From my experience in my field, I can tell you that it might not be more than just one date. They're both incredibly busy individuals, and as for you, Jungkook, if you genuinely like Jiwoo, you might need to find a way to adjust your schedules." His words carried a hint of wisdom and understanding, hoping to reassure his friend that all hope was not lost.
