Vianca's POV

I'm still processing everything. Attorney Lardizabal just read my father's last will and testament. The hotel is under my name, at marami pang ibang property ang nakapangalan sa'kin. Same with Vera. And some properties are to be donated to a charity.

"Actually, kulang pa 'yan." Dagdag ni Attorney. "The house he gave you on your 18th birthday, alam niyang naibenta mo na.

I needed to sell the house dahil walang-wala kami noon ni Vera.

"The new owner must've like the house then." Vera concluded.

"Do you know who's the new owner of the house, Attorney?" I asked curiously. Bumaling sa'kin si Attorney. His brows are curled, he's trying to remember the new owner.

"I don't know who's the new owner. I only talked to their secretary. It's Miss Div—Divata. Yes, Miss Divata." Attorney answered.

Divata? That surname sounds very familiar. My eyes widened when I remember whose surname that is. Clio's friend, that I thought was her girlfriend before.

"Can I have her contact number, Attorney?" I asked Attorney.

"Balak mo ring bilhin yung bahay?" Usisa niya.

"Hindi ko alam.. I don't think I can get the house back."

"E bakit mo hiningi yung contact number?" Naguguluhang tanong niya.

I gulped hard. "I think Clio is the new owner."

Mukhang nagulat siya but moments later, she's giving me an accusing look.

"What?" Tanong ko. "I remember Miss Divata being her friend before. I assume they're still friends, or maybe lovers.." I whispered the last part. There was a part of me who disagree on that idea.

"Hmm.. So you wanna talk to Clio to fix everything?"

After that, wala na siyang maririnig sa amin." Seryosong saad ko.

"Paano kung may girlfriend na siya? Fiancee, or asawa?" I don't know if her question was serious or not but I answered it anyway.

"Then I'm happy for her." I answered wholeheartedly. "I'm doing this for my daughter."

"And speaking of your daughter—where is she? There's was no trace of them here.

We were too occupied about what we have talked about that we forgot to check our daughters.

She dialed a number. "Kuya.. yes this is Mrs. Lopez.. Again?! Paki-alert ng ibang security.. Please, pakihanap po sila agad.. Thank you."

Oh gosh. I'm sick worried. This is her first time here. Yes, she's with Phylbert but they are both kids! What they can do if someone tries to kidnap them?
