Clio's POV

"Cora! Stop!" Sigaw ko habang nagpa-panic na. Mas bumilis pa ang takbo ng sasakyan. "You traitor!" My voice broke and I cried in horror.

I closed my eyes and just accepted my fate. Kung makikipag-agawan ako sa manibela, magagaya kami sa mga teleserye na mababangga. I don't wanna die. If I make it alive, there's still a chance to escape and be wth Vianca and Hyacinth.

"Clio!" Agad kong binuksan ang aking mata. Nakahinto na ang sasakyan. My first thought was to open the door and run but it was locked. "Calm down!" Sigaw ulit ni Cora pinagsusuntok ko na ang window ng kotse para makaalis.

"Shit." Napadaing ako sa sakit.

"I was just joking!" Cora shouted. Tuliro na ako kaya patuloy parin ako sa pagsuntok sa salamin hanggang sa magsalita ulit ito. "Babayaran mo talaga sa'kin 'yan." Saad nito kaya napahinto na ako.

I gazed at her. Nakahalukipkip siya at nakabusangot. I'm breathing abnormally as I stare at her in complete disbelief.

"What the fuck is going on?" Asik ko. I'm overwhelmed. Hindi ko na alam ang una kong iisipin o ang paniniwalaan ko.

"Binibiro nga lang kita! I'm not a traitor, okay? Malay ko bang iiyak ka." She said and pouted.

"You almost killed me!" 'Di parin makapaniwalang sigaw ko.

"Binilisan ko lang magpatakbo? Mas mabilis ka pa nga mag-drive minsan." Sarkastikong wika niya saka lumabas ng kotse. Umikot siya papunta sa tapat ko. Kinatok niya ang bintana so I rolled it down. "You drive. Pagod na ako mag-drive."

I rolled my eyes. Lumipat ako sa driver's seat. Tangina. Lahat nalang talaga ng tao sa paligid ko ay may saltik.

"Basta sa airport ka dumiretso. Matutulog muna ako." That's the last words I heard from her before she close her eyes.

Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako at sinimulang mag-drive. Tinakas nga ako kay mommy pero halos patayin naman ako sa kaba.

As Cora said, I drove all the way to the airport. Nang makarating kami ay ginising ko na si Cora. I still don't know why she want to go here but here we are.

"Follow me." Saad niya pagkatapos i-check ang sarili sa salamin. Nauna siyang lumabas. Nagdadalawang isip akong sumama sa kanya pero pinanlakihan niya ako ng mata kaya sumunod na rin ako. Naglakad kami papasok sa airport. "I'll miss you, my fake wife." She laughed.

"Si Amber lang ang mami-miss ko." Bwelta ko naman. Hindi ko naman siya mamimiss dahil bestfriends parin naman kami at pwede paring magkita kung kailan namin gusto.

"I can't wait to be single and be with Jordan." Cora said, her voice filled with happiness as we stopped in the departure lounge.

"I hope you find happiness with whoever that Jordan is." I shrugged and smiled. I may not say it to Cora, but I really appreciate her. She was there during my lows and she's still here.

She chuckled. "Don't let our efforts go into waste, alright? Pakasalan mo na agad once our divorce is granted." Tinapik niya ang balikat ko.

That's actually my plan but why do it looks like we're saying goodbye to each other? Is she leaving the country kaya siya nagpahatid dito?

Lumapit ako para yakapin si Cora.

I tapped her back and whispered, "Thanks, Corazon, ang unang aswang."
