She loves me.

Nikolai still couldn't believe it and he couldn't help but smile every time he replayed the moment from yesterday in his head. He seemed to float through the streets of Weddle where him and the Cerons attended a celebration out on the streets of Weddle with music, dancing, food and meaningful conversation with the locals. But he had troubles to concentrated on anything else than his future wife.

He caught himself staring at her a few times but every time, she brightly smiled back at him in each moment. It felt good to hold her hand in public and let the people see how crazy in love they were.

And Nikolai couldn't help but to have fallen in love with her. How could anybody not love her? Maybe it had happened a little too fast and they dove little too deep, but he didn't care. She loved him. That was all that mattered.

Whenever they passed a quiet side lane, it took a lot of self-control in him to not pull her aside until they were out of sight and kiss her with all of the passion that was running through him. And to tell her over and over again how much he loved her.

The feeling didn't dissolve itself when the two got separated due to some different appointments, it only grew stronger. His mind was already thinking of her so much when she was there but when she was not at his side, it was nearly unbearable. It was like he forgot how to breath.

He told himself to keep it together and get through the event at the ravkan embassy while Aneela attended a meeting with some farmers outside of Weddle. They would see each other at dinner again and he would be lying if he said he didn't count the hours until they were reunited again. When him and Tamar got back to the Ceron mansion, the rest of family hadn't been back yet but the butler said that somebody had come and requested to see Aneela just a couple of minutes ago.

"Who is it?" Nikolai asked with a frown. "Is it one of her friends? I thought we would meet them for drinks after dinner."

"No, no friend of Miss Aneela's." The butler replied uneasy, fumbling with his hands in discomfort. "It is ... the Prince of Shu Han."

Nikolai's eyes fell nearly out of his head. "Ximen is here?!"

"Indeed, Your Highness."

"Oh no ..." Tamar muttered behind him. "Can you send him away?"

It was obvious how unpleasant the butler found this situation to be, to have this guest in the mansion, knowing why he was here. Everybody knew why he was here. "We have tried everything but we are at a point where it would be unpolite to ask the Prince of Shu Han to leave."

"How about throwing him out?" Tamar suggested.

The butler made a grim face. "The household would like to do that, be sure of that Miss Yul-Bataar, but we cannot do that. We have to wait until a member of the family deals with him and then can act as they instruct us to."
