-Condition

Anna's POV

The whole war ground is silent and everyone is looking at him curiosity.

Condition? What might it be?

"What is it?", our Alpha Chris asked.

"I will stop the war, if you send Anna to my pack". I gasped.

"No! I will not come with you to your pack!", I shouted at him and everyone looked at me like I have lost my mind by shouting at him. He didn't even glance at me.

"The choice is yours Alpha. Either you send her with me, I will stop the war or I will take her after the war. Either way I am taking her. No one will stop me!", he said in a dangerously low voice. Everyone gulped.

"You will not take my sister anywhere! I won't let you!", Mike said coming to him. Bane looked at him with cold eyes and then looked at the crowd.

"And whoever wants to stop me from taking my mate from here, be ready to die. I don't care who you are or what you are to my mate!", Bane said to everyone. Mike looked at me and I shook my head in a no gesture. I don't want my brother dead. I am sure Bane will do it, if necessary.

Mike took a step back and had his hands balled in fists. His head hung low in defeat. My mother put a hand on my brother.

"Anyone else?".

No one came front, of course.

"Good. So, I take it you accept the offer?", he asked my Alpha. I looked at Chris. He is like a brother to me. He took the Alpha position six years ago when he was twenty. He looked at me and sighed. I know he so wanted to save me, but there is no other option for us. Chris gave me an apologetic look.

"I will come with you", I said in a whisper looking at the ground. All the heads raised up to look at me. My family looked at me with shock.

"Are you out of your mind Anna?", my brother said coming near me and gripping my arms.

"Do you have any solution for this?".

He just shook his head.

"Then?".

"I am sorry Anna. Forgive me. I am not strong enough to fight for you", he whispered.

"It's not your fault. It's okay", I said hugging him. Soon I was pulled away from the hug by an arm and a growl came from his chest.

"It's so late. So why don't you take rest in our pack house. You can leave tomorrow", Chris adviced.

"No! I will go to my mates house to rest", Bane said looking down at me. It's not like I have an option to reject him from coming. He will even break the door to come. So, no point in arguing.

"Okay. But I have something to talk with you before you rest", Chris said seriously.

"Okay. Go home mate. I will be there soon", he said before kissing my fore head. Then him and Alpha Chris left. Slowly everyone in the war ground left to their houses and who ever got injured were treated in the pack hospital.

We came home and my brothers have scars on his body. My mother also have some. My mother and brother are good fighters. We are warriors, so we can fight hard. I treated them and banded them.

"I don't want to go with him", I said slowly to my mother.

"We know dear", my mother said while hugging me and smoothing her hand down my hair. Suddenly my brother came to me and knelt down in front of me.

"Look Anna. I may not be strong enough to protect you from him, but if you have any trouble, i mean any... just give me a call, I will be there in seconds okay?".

"Okay", I whispered and hugged him. I so going to miss him.

"Out of every male wolf in the world, why is he mated to you?", my brother said while shaking his head, as if he is having a head ache.

Soon there was a knock on the door. I can smell his mint scent. Then there was another urgent knock. I went and opened the door knowing it was him. He soon hugged me to him and kissed my fore head.

"Let's go. You should rest", he said a took my hand while coming in side of my house like he owned it.

He saw my mother and brother and just gave them a nod. Then he led me to my room and opened the door. I gave him a confused look. How does he know it's my room?

"Your scent is strong in this room", he answered as he sat on the bed.

I just kept looking at him. My room is not so big or so small. But medium. He looked around the room and then looked at me. My bed is a single cot bed. I don't like big beds. I like small beds. But it has extra mattress and soft. Just the way I like it with a single pillow at top. He patted the seat beside him, for me to sit.

"Your room is nice", he commented with a hard face. Doesn't his expression change? Why is his face always void of emotions?

"Thank you", I said sitting on the edge of the bed far from him.

"Sleep", he ordered.

"What?".

"Lay down and sleep. We will start tomorrow morning as soon as we can", he said while pushing me on the bed gently by my shoulders and put the blanket on me. Just as I thought he is leaving he crawled inside the bed and slept with me. I am shocked and was about to pull away, when he pulled me closer to his chest and put my head in his chest. I am smell his scent which calmed my wolf.

"Bane", I tried to wiggle out. But held me closer.

"Don't try mate. I will not let you go. Sleep. We should travel tomorrow", he said with his voice emotionless and kissed my fore head.

I huffed and fell into deep sleep, but I heard a small voice say.

"My mate, my love".
