Manik's Pov
At night I was trying to sleep but no how can I? Those moments, the thoughts everything has messed my mind so fucking much
I am not getting any idea to stop everything. He is so powerful and strong I can't do anything I can't stop him
I was lost in my thoughts of chain when someone knocked the door. I stood up to open and there she was standing with 2 cups in her hands.
"Can I come inside?" She asked then looked here and there then backward. "Before someone see me!" She added.
I sighed giving her a way to come inside. I locked the door turning towards her while she forwarded one cup to me
"Coffee" she said. I held the glass taking a sip. "You won't talk to me?" She asked.
I kept silent and sat on bed checking my phone.
"Manik?" She called sitting besides me But I pretend like I'm not listening. "Manik!"
"What?" I asked politely.
"You are angry on me right?" She asked
"Why will I be Nandini? I'm not"
"I know you're angry on me"
"So what will you do? You tell me why you lied in front of him why?" I asked
"Because I know him very well Manik. He is so strong and powerful he will destroy you in a moment. You know he can do anything Nothing would change with my truth. Manik please stop fighting for me I don't want you to fight for me and loose everything you have, so please I request you"
"Why Nandini why nothing will happen to me trust me I can save you"
"You can't Manik what you think I haven't tried to save myself? I did and you know what it took him just an hour to find me and in result I was punished like hell. Helping me will make you loose what you have and still nothing will change, he will snatch everything from you and then he'll show you how he'll torture me so please stop doing this I request you" she said.
"Fine Nandini Fine as you say" I said. I won't leave this matter easily I will find a way by hook or by crook.
"Thank you"
She kept the glass on side table. My heart skipped a beat as she was really close to me. I moved back looking at her
"I should leave" she said getting up
"Ok then good night" I said wiping my hands on my pants
"Goor night" she said and left"
"Control yourself Manik what's going on?" I lay down to sleep
Nandini's pov
Coming back to my room I saw Mr. Malhotra. My breath got stuck, I looked down
"Where were you?" He asked
"Uhm... I... I was in kitchen" I lied
"Kitchen? At this hour?"
"I was feeling hungry so..."
"Today I'm going to sleep here" my eyes came out of my socket
"What?" I asked in shock
"You have a problem?"
"Y...No I mean you never slept here so..."
"So what Today I will now come and lay down" he said patting on a side of bed where I sleep
Without arguing I went to my place and laid down. I'm not scared because I know he won't touch me in that way.
I closed my eyes and slept
The next day it was Saturday. After Mr. Malhotra left for office I came to my room to change my clothes. The door knocked and Manik entered inside
"Good Morning"
"Good Morning you still here? No work today?" I asked
"No I took a leave today"
"Oh I see"
"So what are your plans for today?" I faked a smile
"Nothing new sitting here and spending the day"
"Are you serious?" I nodded "Let's go out somewhere what say?"
"I can't"
"Why?"
"I'm not allowed to go out without Mr. Malhotra"
"Oh come on he won't do anything after all you are with me"
"I can't Manik don't you know him"
"Look Nandini I promise he won't do anything trust me I'm here" He said
"Ok" I said
"Okay then get ready I'm waiting downstairs" he said and Left.
After changing my clothes, binding my hairs in a messy bun I went down to see him using his phone.
"I'm ready" I said while he looked at me.
"Let's go then" he said getting up.
We left the house but someone held my hand.
"Mam you can't go out" I turned to see the guard holding my hand.
"Leave my hand" I said trying to get out of his grip
"You can't go out Sir has strictly ordered us" he said
"Leave her hand you motherfucker" Manik shouted pushing him away "Don't you know who I'm?" He asked
"Sorry Sir but Mr. Malhotra has ordered us we can't disobey him" he said.
"She isn't going alone She is going with me and you can't stop me so better stay away"
"But si-"
"No more arguments. Nandini sit in car" he said while I nodded
He start the engine and we left the Mansion. I opened the window taking a deep breath letting the air touch my face.
"Where do you want to go?" He asked
"Where I can feel free" I said
"Alright"
The car stopped in front of some unknown place.
"Where we are?" I asked
"You will see" he said and we both got out of car.
It was a calm place not even a single person to be seen.
"Let's go" he said and we both start walking.
We stoped at some specific place and in front of me it was water. The trees are all around it was so relaxing.
"So What you think?" He asked
"Bo doubt it is very relaxing"
"You are free to do anything weather it about swimming or walking wherever you want" he said
"Can I?" I asked
"Off course you can" he sat down taking off his shoes.
I too sat besides him putting my legs inside the water.
"This is my favorite place" he said
"Really?"
"Yeah I love this place I have so many memories connected with this place"
"With your girlfriend?" I asked he looked at me
"No I'm single"
"Really? I don't believe this"
"Why?"
"I mean you don't look like to be single, you're handsome, caring and loving so many girls would've fallen for you for sure" I said
"Are you also falling for me?" He asked looking straight in my eyes.
My words got stuck in my throat
