Taylor's POV

I woke up to the soft rays of morning sunlight streaming through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the room. The realization of being naked next to Travis sent a surge of vulnerability through me, but at the same time, a euphoric feeling lingered in the air. Snuggling closer to him, I nestled my head into the crook of his neck.

"Good morning, beautiful," he greeted me, his morning voice wrapping around me like a comforting melody. A contented sigh escaped me as I pressed myself even closer to him.

Determined to savor the moment, I made a silent promise not to move for the next few hours. The comfort and normalcy of the situation were refreshing, a rare reprieve from the constant considerations of public perception that usually occupied my mind. Here I was, in bed, with no plans to disrupt the peace I had found.

After about 10 minutes of enjoying the tranquil silence, Travis broke it with a gentle suggestion. "Do you want me to go get us coffee?" I shifted slightly, granting him the freedom to leave the bed. As he rose and put on his underwear, Benjamin, my ever-inquisitive cat, seized the opportunity to explore. He dashed past Travis and leaped onto the bed, his tiny paws padding as he settled in to make his own comfortable spot.

I couldn't help but laugh at the sight of Benjamin's morning routine, his attempts to claim a cozy spot beside us. "Good morning," I chuckled, addressing the feline intruder with amusement. It felt like a scene from a quirky romantic comedy, and in that lighthearted moment, any residual vulnerability melted away. I watched as Travis left the room to fetch coffee, grateful for the tranquility of the morning and the unexpected joy that unfolded after a night of shared intimacy.

Travis returned with two steaming mugs of coffee, and the rich aroma filled the room, creating a cozy atmosphere. Benjamin, having secured his spot, eyed the cups curiously, as if pondering whether coffee was his cup of tea.

"Here you go," Travis said, handing me a mug as he settled back onto the bed. I took a sip, the warmth of the coffee comforting both inside and out.

"Thank you," I smiled, feeling a sense of ease in the simple act of sharing a quiet morning together. Benjamin, seemingly satisfied with his position, curled up between us, content to be part of the morning ritual.

We sat in companionable silence, the only sounds being the gentle hum of the city outside and the occasional sip of coffee. As the morning unfolded, we found ourselves talking about everything and nothing—our dreams, favorite books, and the mundane yet charming details that make up everyday life.

In that moment, surrounded by warmth, coffee, and the soft purring of a content cat, the outside world faded away. It was a snapshot of normalcy, an ordinary morning in an extraordinary connection.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, casting a golden glow over the room, Travis looked at me with a soft smile. "This is nice, isn't it?"

I nodded, a shared understanding passing between us. No cameras, no public eyes—just two people sharing a simple morning. It was a welcomed change, and I couldn't help but marvel at the authenticity of the moment.

With a tender gesture, Travis reached for my hand, intertwining our fingers. The connection felt different now, more intimate and real. As we continued to enjoy the tranquil morning, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for us—whether this was just a chapter in a story or the beginning of something more profound.
