Travis's POV

"That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard," My brother said to me over the phone,

"Why?" I questioned as I scrolled through Zillow

"You have known her, what, a month, and even tho you have only been official for 2 weeks, and again your relationship isn't 100% public, Bro she is the most famous person on the planet," He said,

"Exactly, my house isn't that private, and I want to show her I love her," I said as I was looking at multi-million dollar homes.

"Show her you love her by buying her a house?" My brother questioned sarcastically

Buying a house might seem like a bit much, but I couldn't shake off the idea. "Look, it's not just about buying her a house. It's about finding a place that's ours, where we can create memories together."

My brother sighed on the other end. "I get it, man. But, seriously, it's a huge step, especially this early in the relationship."

"I know it's unconventional," I admitted. "But I feel something special with her. I want to make her feel special too."

"Just be careful, okay?" My brother's concern was evident. "You know how relationships in the spotlight can be."

"I will," I assured him. "I'm just considering options right now, nothing's set in stone."

"Alright, just promise me you'll think this through," he said, his tone serious.

"I promise," I replied, scrolling through the listings. As I closed the phone call, the thought of finding the perfect house lingered in my mind. It wasn't about extravagance; it was about finding a place where Taylor and I could build a future together, it was about showing her I wanted her, I wanted us to be serious, I wasn't dating her because she was the Taylor Swift, I was dating her because she was Taylor, she was the woman on my dream and I had her. I needed her to know how much she meant and how much this relationship meant to me.

I checked the time on my phone before I called her, It was after 6 which meant she should be out of the studio, That wasn't always the case but she would normally text me if she was still busy after 6.

I pressed the call button on her number.

It rang three times before she picked up,

My hands were shaking, I knew it was early in the relationship but this was something I wanted, I wanted this relationship to work and I was going to make it work.

"Hey beautiful," I said as her face popped up on my screen,

"Good afternoon," She said as she propped her phone up on something in the kitchen,

"You making dinner?" I asked as I connected to the facetime call from my laptop.

"Spicy pepper stuffed chicken," She said as she opened her fridge,

"Sounds good, wish I was there with you," I laughed as I tapped my fingers on my hand.

"How about I make us dinner next week when I am in Kansas?" She asked with a slightly sarcastic tone.

"How about we make dinner together, and you can make fun of my horrendous cooking skills?" I laugh. I took a deep breath before I spoke again, "Tay, I had an Idea and I wanted to know what you think of it," I said as she started cooking,

"What is that?" She asked, each word she said made me more nervous.

"I was looking at getting a new house, somewhere we could live together when you aren't on tour, so we can be together when I am not working, and so I can still work and see you, I don't want to rush anything, it is just I am serious about us and I really..." She cut me off,

"I think that is a good idea, I will talk to Tree about it," She said calming all my nerves,

"You don't think it is too soon? Or too much?" I question,

"Do you want to live together or not? Considering how busy our lives are I think it is an amazing idea. And considering after the South America leg in a few weeks, I have nearly 3 months off the tour, I would love to spend that time with you," As she spoke I felt my face heat up.

Taylor's warm, sincere acceptance of my suggestion took me by surprise, sweeping away the nervousness that had wrapped around me like a thick fog. Her reassurance was a balm to my doubts, quelling any worries I had about moving too fast.

A genuine smile spread across my face, relief flooding through me. "You really mean it?"

"Of course, I mean it, you big idiot" she replied, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "I've been thinking about something like this too. Having a place together when our schedules allow sounds perfect."

A wave of euphoria surged within me, her words sinking in deeper. "I want to make this real, Tay. I want us to have a place where we can just be us, without the cameras and the hectic schedules."

"That sounds like a dream," she admitted, her smile warming my heart. "And hey, we don't have to rush. We can take our time to figure things out."

"Absolutely," I agreed eagerly. "I'll keep looking at places and send you some options. But this is something I want,"

Her laugh danced through the speakers. "And hey, it's not every day a guy offers to move in with me," she teased, her tone playful.

I couldn't help but laugh along. "Guess I'm not like most guys then."

"No, you're not," she said softly, her eyes meeting mine through the screen. There was a warmth in her gaze that made my heart flutter. "And I appreciate that about you."

As we continued our conversation, discussing potential places and the excitement of building a life together, I felt a sense of serenity wash over me. This wasn't just about finding a house; it was about creating a home, a space that was ours—a haven amidst the whirlwind of our lives.

After ending the call, a surge of determination fueled my search for the perfect house. I wanted to find a place where we could create memories together, a place that echoed the laughter and happiness I felt when we were together.
