Ghani opened his eyes hearing a phone ringing sound. He looked towards the night stand and saw Ahistha's phone ringing. He stretched out his left hand as she had her hea placed on his right hand biceps, hugging him by his waist. He saw the caller id, and realised it was his mother-in-law. He looked down at Ahistha who was sound asleep with a cute pout on her lips. His lips curved up seeing her sleeping like a baby. His heart said him to not to wake up her but he had to.
"Muthumazhai...."
He shook her gently. She whined in her sleep and hugged him tighter, burying her face deep into his chest. He again shook her calling her name.
"Ahistha, kanna thora maa..."
"Enna venum Ghaniyeyy... Enna thoonga vidunga please.."
She whined with closed eyes and again slept on her previous position.
"Maa, athai call panranga, eduthu pesu maa."
Ahistha jerked open her eyes and looked at him. He showed her the phone making her eyes popped out. She instantly snatched the phone and gestured him to be silent, by keeping her forefinger on her lips. He mimicked her action, silently telling her that he'll be silent. She laid straight, taking her head from his biceps and placing it on the pillow and attended the call placing the phone on her ear.

Ghani smiled hearing her words. He looked down smiling to see Ahistha looking at him with open mouth and wide eyes. He chuckled at her expression and kissed on her nose, bringing her back to the real world. He put the call on speaker before gesturing her to talk further.
