"If I liked boys, I would rather a Jc boy over a Kc one any day" D spoke as we walked towards the school gate so we could leave.
She had a meeting, so I was waiting on her.
"Mi ex go Jc.. boy glow right up" I spoke.
"Which ex that? Think a primary school was yuh first relationship"
"It was. We deh from grade 5 to 6.. Jc him did pass fah" i tell her.
"A so the likkle crawsis boy dem gwaan. Decide fi look dem best when people nuh interested no more" she rolls her eyes and I laugh.
"We still talk, from time to time. We didn't break up on bad terms. We literally leff because we passed for different high schools... and him literally live like 2 avenues away from me. Walking distance" I tell her.
"So yuh woulda deh back wid him?" she side eye me as we walk out the gate.
"No. Maybe, mi nuh know.. It's not anything like that. We're better off as friends.. plus we don't talk often"
"Me now? Woulda gallop go back to him fi hurt up a certain rich boy head" she says and I laugh playfully pushing her.
Thought about, laughed about it.. then realized I didn't care that much.
"So him cute bad bad?" she asked and I started smiling.
"He's cute, but everybody have a different opinion. My cute and your cute probably different" I say shyly and she laughs.
"Mek mi see him. Have a picture?"
Taking out my phone, I search for his Instagram. Giving my phone to her after finding it, she brought it up her eyes.
"Babes, who needs Azaro when yuh can have this??" she spoke and I peek over at the picture she was looking at
