Aaron's POV (Edited)

The moment her lips brushed against mine, my body went still. My muscles stiffed and my mind totally blank. I couldn't fathom anything instead of her lips brushing with mine. Her soft lips stayed there for few minutes waiting.

Waiting till I response back.

Waiting till I reciprocated my own will too.

But my mind was too occupied by the feel of her lips on mine. I could feel her body getting taut. I could feel her reluctance radiating off her body. One more moment and she would pull away. But I don't want her to pull away. I want to keep feeling her against myself.

Than better show some action, dimwit.

My mind mocked me.

When she started to pull away, then and only then, my hand instantly wrapped around her waist pulling her close to me tightly. My lips slammed at her with much force and that was the moment.

Peace.

The moment my lips touched her, a wave of electricity passed through my body. An electric touch so strong, it ignited a fire underneath me. The feel of her soft, rosy lips against mine. My hand buried in her smooth and silky hairs. I savour this moment. We both needed oxygen but no-one wanted to pull away.

How can we?

We're experiencing this after so long. I don't want to pull away. Scared that it might all be a mirage and we both would go back to how we were. There were doubts and fears with us.

After a while, we both pulled away simulatenously. Our ragged breaths and eractic heartbeats breaking the silence in the room. Anastasia's face was flushed and her lips were swollen. My face would resembled the same thing minus the flushing.

She took a long breath before down casting her eyes hiding them from me. I took a step ahead before grabbing her chin and tilting her head upwards. She looked into my eyes. And that was the first time, her facade was broken.

Her eyes were clear. They were full of emotions. I could see fear, I could see doubt, I could see happiness, I could see longing, I could see everything down from every bad emotion to good. Her eyes were now resembled an open book. And I have the exclusive chance to read it free.

My fingers stroked her cheek causing her eyes to flutter close. None of us dared to say anything. Not wanting to break the comfortable aura around us. My fingers kept stroking her cheek and I placed my forehead against her. My nose touching hers.

"That was amazing."

I couldn't help but broke the quietness. Her eyes fluttered open before a hue of pink coated both of her cheeks. My lips parted in an amused chuckle before I tenderly kiss each of her cheek. She blushed even more like a red tomato. She gently pushed me away before speaking in her soft melodious voice

"Stop making me blush."

A laugh bubbled out of my chest. She's do damn cute. So, I patted her hairs away from her face and spoke

"Can't do. You look so cute."

She couldn't help but blush again. I stared into her eyes and feel myself getting lost in them. Her eyes were perfect shade of brown. People think brown eyes are mundane. But they're wrong. Brown eyes held such storm underneath them. They shone under the sunlight representing the shine in them.

Her eyes always reminded me of a desert, I so want to get lost into. Her eyes are hypnotizing. Her eyes are captivitaing.

"Is this real?"
