Hey, guys, here's the new update

Aaron's POV (Edited)

We both were brutally disturbed by whoever decided to come inside unannounced. But the moment I heard his voice, I knew who it was.

Zachary Saint.

Nothing like the name given to him. My jaw visibly clenched so hard, I thought it might break. Anastasia was stilled beside me. I stood up while gently placing her hand back in her lap. She remained quiet though.

"How the hell did you get here?"

I couldn't help but convey how much welcome he is in my office. Or my company. Zachary Saint is one of those people who are always on my red list radar. Zachary Saint might be the top of them. Usually, I don't mess myself with these insolent idiots.

But you're still connected to that thick head uncle by blood.

My jaw clenched even more at the taunting words of my brain. However, the bastard standing infront of me was shamelessly smirking. My fists clenched to the point my knuckles turned white. I so want to create the world map on his pathetic face.

"My my! Aren't they the most welcoming words I've ever heard!"

Zachary spoke with mockery dripping from his voice. His lips still crooked in that stupid smirk.

"What the hell are you doing here, Saint?"

I said totally annoyed by his presence.

"Tsk tsk, Aaron. I'm investing in your company. I deserves a special treatment, don't I?"

He fueled the fire brewing inside further. This piece of shit so badly want to get beaten up. I was about to lunge at him totally losing my calm when a soft grip on my arm stopped me. I craned my head to her side and she merely shook her head. Conveying the message clear. 'Don't do it. It's not worth it.'

I closed my eyes before exhaling a long breath. I need to be calm and collected.

"Oh! Isn't that the romantic gesture of the year! Well, you two can be the couple of the year. Giving the fact that you're rivals. Oh! How romantic it must be! Two rivals falling in love with each other. And even so without anyone knowing."

Zachary mocked. Again. This little piece of...

Ana's grip tightened around me halting my movements. Zachary sat down causally on the chair fueling my anger. But I can't freaking do anything. He's barged in on that moment that would change our lives.

I need to be careful because one wrong move and Zachary won't even hesitate to ruin everything. And I'd be damned to give him even a single chance. So, I tolerate whatever freakery he was doing. He crossed his leg over another before placing his index finger underneath his chin.

"I wonder if your family and brother dearest know about it. I mean I'm sure they would've known. Given the fact, the animosity between your families since I think...over six years, am I right?"

Zachary's tone was getting mocking by each sentence and I couldn't help but retorted back

"Whatever your purpose to spew nonsense right now is not going to work out. You'll not get any benefit in return."

Zachary raised his eyebrows before his eyes glanced to where Ana was standing.

"Do you think he's right, gorgeous?"

My jaw clenched to the extent of paining. But before I could reply, Anastasia confidently spoke up

"You shouldn't be so over confident. You're just gonna fall harder."
