Anastasia's POV (Edited)

The sunlight peeked through the curtains. My eyes squinted due to that and I covered my eyes with my hand. I took a long heavy sigh before roaming my hand on the other side of the bed. The other side was cold.

That's means, Aaron's awake.

I finally sat up straight. I rubbed my eyes to get rid of the excessive sleep. I shrugged before stepping out of the bed. I walked to the bathroom to take a shower and get fresh. As the warm water flooded over my body, a relieved sigh escaped my lips.

After taking a shower, I wrapped the towel tightly around me before walking to brush my teeth and doing my usual morning skin care. Then, I walked towards my closet. I'm still accommodating to my new room. (As in Aaron's room). After the whole stealing incident and Aaron's uncle was arrested, I shifted permanently here.

It was more of my choice than Aaron. I don't want to waste anytime away from him. I already have wasted six years of my life and I can't afford anymore. So, here I am. Aaron was more than welcome to have me here. Of course, he also wanted that too. We had also officially announced it to the media too. There's no reason in keeping it a secret anymore.

And as for Kayden, he still hadn't accepted our relationship but things are going smooth. The truce that Aaron offered that day worked. Kayden had been less hostile with Aaron whenever they met occasionally. Kayden also started to talk with me. Although, there's still an edge in it but he's trying.

And that's all that matters.

So, changing into my office attire, I tied my hairs in a high ponytail. I sprayed the perfume and wore my wrist watch. I grabbed my purse and exited the room. As I descended the stairs, I could hear the clattering of utensils. I padded to the kitchen and as usual, Aaron was there. He was completely dressed in a dark blue suit but his jacket was hanging on the stool chair while his white dress shirt was folded up to his elbows.

He looked a sight for sore eyes right now. The way he's chopping the vegetables. The way his muscles flexed. My eyes were fixed at him. As if he realized the stare on himself, he turned back. A smile instantly formed on his lips before it turned into a full blown smirk. My eyes narrowed before I muttered

"Don't say it."

Aaron broke into fists of laughter. I pouted before walking further into the kitchen. He immediately grabbed ahold of my waist and pulled me closer to himself. His manly and earthy scent wafted through my nose making me forget everything. His hand providing a sense of warmth to me. He flicked my nose softly before pecking my lips softly.

A tender smirk appeared on my lips.

"You're beautiful."

I laughed before pushing him slightly.

"You always said that. I think even if I'm wearing a sack of potato you're still gonna call me beautiful."

I joked. But Aaron's eyes remained serious. He kissed my cheeks before mumbling truthfully

"You're beautiful in everyway. Whether you're dressed in a multi-million dress or a sack of potato as you said."

My heart melted at the way he thinks about me. It's so surreal having someone appreciate you at every moment of your life. I'm lucky I found that person in my life too.

"So, what you're making?"

I asked while placing my bag on the counter. Aaron shifted back to chopping vegetables before he answered
